I have been corrected by Polish people - and I expect it with my Polish - but it's the other things - telling my kids to wear a hat, etc. (when they are with me), etc. that bothers me a bit. I actually want to be corrected with my Polish as it helps me.

Whenever I learn new Polish words, I try them out with people I interact with everyday and they like the effort very much and correct me often on if I say something incorrectly or not able to pronounce properly. I absolutely love it. To add more to it, I have never seen any babcia more happy whenever I say *Dobry wieczór* to them.
