I'd be very careful about marrying a woman froom Poland--or anywhere else--who is not religious. Basically they would easily adapt to the toxicity of modern Western dating in which marriage is completely disregarded and a woman will cheat and/or file for divorce on a whim.

I’m a beginner so I’m barely understanding 10% of the Polish part, but it’s a great idea! Such a video is entertaining and useful at the same time. Appreciate the effort you’re putting into this. Edit: just noticed that the video is titled B1-B2 lol

I can confirm "psiapsi" is cringe inducing 😂 Tho I wouldn't associate it with millennials Also I didn't use word "kumpel" once in my life. As you said "kolega" has wide range of meanings so for me often it is enough to use it instead of "kumpel" I guess "bosom buddy" would be translation for "psiapsi" if you wanted something close

Polish women are nice looking and think more about your appearance - you are very attractive for example.

Here in Norway, we have many Polish people. In my experience, most of them prefer to marry Polish men. They have the same language, culture, and mentality. Many are here only to work for some years and return to Poland once they have enough resources. Again, this is just an observation. Not necessarily true about all poles.

The farther one goes from Americanization, the closer one gets to traditional values! These values are shared everywhere around the world. Unless you live in a socialist country, young mothers especially need an extended family to help them if they want to become professionals of some kind.

I have polish neighbours and they are awful, rude, selfish, exploitative, don't think the law applies to them, and worse than all that, they abuse animals. The worse case of animal abuse I have ever witnessed. I'm sure not ALL Polish people are like this but honestly I'm disgusted.

I work in the UK in a factory with two polish sisters , they are in their own world , rude , snobbish and always talking nonstop , they speak about the people they work with and are very bitchy and unapologetic about it , they bend the rules , they think they are the best workers but they're pride does not extend to their skill and won't do work that is technical, often they are very slow and have an attitude about everything ..... I'd like to try and get on with them but I tolerate the situation, as I'm here to work get paid go home , but does they're behaviour have to be so hard in everyone else ?

You can always buy a backpack that comes with built in security metal strap that you can use to lockdown your bag to something that cannot be easily cut. Some bags even have motion sensing alarm and if the bag is moved while the lock is armed it will make a nasty noise that cannot be turned off, except if you know the Alarm’s combination numbers! This way your bag may be a bit safer in any country😊

Listen, my wife is working with Polish people, and it's really tough for her. She feels so bad that she even cries sometimes. She's new to the project she's working on, and they don't show empathy. For example, when she's in doubt about something and asks for help, she hears them saying several times, 'you should know that.' Jesus, if the person is asking, it's because she needs help. That's really different from our way to treat people. By the way, we are from Brazil. There are several rude people here as well. I'm not saying we're better, 'cause we are not. However, at least in the working environment the experience is not being good at all.

Dear Students, I am writing to you to share some news regarding Your.Polish, the website dedicated to teaching Polish that you have been a part of. After much consideration and reflection, I have made the decision to pursue a different career path. While this was not an easy decision, I believe it is the right one for me at this time. As a result, I regret to inform you that I will be closing Your.Polish. I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your support, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout our journey together. Your engagement and commitment to learning Polish and exploring Polish culture have been truly inspiring, and it has been a privilege to be a part of your language-learning journey. While Your.Polish will no longer be available, I want to assure you that I am still passionate about the Polish language and culture. If you ever have any questions, need assistance, or simply want to stay in touch, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]. I will be periodically checking this email and will do my best to respond to any inquiries. Once again, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your support and understanding during this transition. I wish you all the best in your language-learning endeavors and in all of your future endeavors. Warm regards, Michalina

🇬🇧 An ace / trick up your sleeve 🇵🇱 Mieć asa w rękawie, mieć coś w zanadrzu It's so interesting that in English this phrase can go both ways - either win it all with an ace or full everyone with a trick, I assume a joker 🤯.

Quality content, Michalina! You have presented these subtle differences/preferences very well. The use of "ludzie" to represent a large crowd made me think of the less common noun "lud" that is used, among others, to indicate a large crowd or people inhabiting a certain land.

Hello 👋🏼 I have a question... Does a tongue touch the back side of teeth in polish language when pronouncing ,,L" or hard palate only? We, in Serbian language, when pronouncing ,,L", it is produced by touching the back of the teeth only, not a hard palate, and it sounds a bit different than ,,L" in Polish language. I need your help with this 😊
