I was in Poland one year with my son in Katowice. It was February. One morning we went out and there were long queues of people standing outside cake shops and bakeries all walking away with boxes of doughnuts. Turns out Poland has a 'doughnut' day one day in February when it's traditional for people to take a box to work or take home. We decided to join in. When in Rome .... I absolutely love Poland, by the way.

The corn "puffs" were usually eaten by kids in Poland from what I remember. It's still processed food but a little bit healthier than the crisps/chips. That's why they don't add the flavor but they also have strawberry ones. Lorenz is not a polish brand by the way. Isn't it German or something? Used to be called Bahlsen back in the day. They are popular in Poland but it's a franchise similar to Lay's/Walkers. Polish chips would be Przysnacki for instance. The kabanosy aren't that healthy because of the preservatives added but always been pretty tasty. The "hedgehogs" always had small amount of nuts and dried plums (rodzynki). Loved them when I was a kid. =) Good to see they're still around and win people's hearts. I think Princessa used to be polish (can't remember what brand) but then it was taken over by Nestlé.

Polish people like for food to be natural and have no artificial additives. That means the flavors are milder, but you can appreciate them more if you spend several months eating just food made near 100% out of… food. By comparison when I first came to USA and could not afford organic, the artificial flavors were too strong for me. BTW, the all-natural corn puffs are baby food… You feed them to babies starting at 6 months.. 😂😂😂 Delicje are made on biscotti cake. It is getting crunchier with time. Dry biscotti is perfectly edible.

It's really sad that people are unaware or aware of what they consume. I ate it too because that's what parents and advertisements say, our community is bombarded with it in stores, with food that is not natural, toxic and damaging to your health, but that's what we are taught from childhood and we continue to poison ourselves consciously or not. Besides, it's nice to watch you, but I don't recommend artificial food, even if it brings back nice memories. The world is a lie, unfortunately.
