Here in Norway, we have many Polish people. In my experience, most of them prefer to marry Polish men. They have the same language, culture, and mentality. Many are here only to work for some years and return to Poland once they have enough resources. Again, this is just an observation. Not necessarily true about all poles.

These are the values I grew up with, taught by my mum in the 90's in England. I have given up now on dating because it's become utterly ridiculous and stressful. Polish girls sound exactly what I think most men want. Just to have a loving partnership which both people can care for and rely on each other. It's just basic courtesy, thoughtfulness, and decency. Thank you for this video. It makes me think the world has a chance, perhaps.

Do you feel that attitudes in Poland are changing now though? Especially with the younger generation? They seem to want to good jobs with careers and have more fun, while waiting later in life to get married, like in the west.

With the marriage, that depends on how they were brought up. And career wise, I think fewer people want career. I think they strive to have this work-life balance to have the time to figure out their lives that may be so different than their parents'

I know that you generalizing and that's fine but I wouldn't agree with you about "us being taught to please a man/husband"? Where did you hear that? The part of Poland where I am from which is Lublin, I was rather thought the opposite. Sorry, but I have to laugh 😅. I would also say that "telling mom everything" depends on how close the relationships within the families are and in every family is different. For instance, I didn't tell my mom everything, my childhood friend was the same but my daughter (13 y.o.) on the other hand tells me everything, I mean we are very close which I love and appreciate, but sometimes I think to myself, do I really need to know this or that🤔🤭, but I always listening what when she wants to share something and I believe that it is a blessing because nowadays, many parents have no idea what is going on in their children's life.

To get into polish girl hearth you have to steal her mother hearth first! bring flowers, be polite, kiss her mother in hand (especially on the first meeting) and help with dishes after dinner....also to maintain relationship with polish girl you have to be handy if she ask you to fix broken table leg dont wait because she will do it herself and that's a red flag for her.

This is very correct. If the potential husband does not seek a relationship with her parents, she most likely will not allow her relationship with him to develop further. Also, it is true, the Polish woman will repair something which is broken, and won't say anything to her husband, but he loses esteem in her eyes if she knows he was aware of the problem and did nothing about it. If she is dating a man and he ignores something which needs to be repaired, she wonders why. Is he stupid? Is he just lazy? Does he need to be told what to do? Will he ever improve? What else will he ignore? If we have children and I'm not at home, will he feed them or will he just let them starve? If the house catches fire will he get the children out or just leave them to burn to death?...Good bye!...Next man!..ooops! my Polish got a little carried away!

I think there is no universal way a Polish woman should be but there are a few common traits of all Polish women: 1. The majority of Polish women are intelligent and goal-oriented so having a partner who has no goals and doesn't know where his relationship would be in 5 years is a recipe for disaster for Polish women. You need to know who you are and where you want to be in life; 2. The majority of Polish women don't go to the clubs and if they go, they do it to celebrate someone's birthday or a hens' night, not to find a guy. Polish women who are frequently there are looking for a casual date. It's not a place to meet someone serious so don't expect it; 3. Poles are in majority punctual. If you are late for a date longer than 10 min, it's considered to be disrespectful for a Polish woman. If you are no show and you don't call her to let her know why, you can forget about the second date with her; 4. Polish woman are loyal and have integrity so a man who dates a Polish woman can't date a multiple people at the same time. It's considered cheating; 5. Whoever invites another person for a date/meeting/outing is expected to pay, no matter of their sex. It's considered polite to offer to pay for yourself though. If you are in a difficult situation and you want to invite a Polish woman, don't worry. Polish women are not materialistic, they are romantic. Invite her to the park for a walk, make her a picnic with whatever you have in the fridge, pick some flowers for her, buy her a coffee/tea from a vendor store, take her to any picturesque place, write her a beautiful message. A date needs to be memorable, not expensive; 6. Always keep your word. If you break it you will be considered unreliable unless it's a life-death situation. It's a turn-off for Polish women if a man can't keep his word; 7. Polish women rarely ask for help but if they do, better help them as soon as possible. Polish women usually deal with problems themselves but if they muster their courage to ask you to do something for them, they are either in a pitch or they trust you a lot. Take it seriously, don't postpone it for later because of more important thing; 8. Polish women like manly, polite, kind, gentleman-like guys. Open door for her, help her with chair, coat, bag, be kind to the waiter and people around you. A mean, full of himself buffon is a turn off.

Thank you for this comment, wayyy more accurate than the video! The thing about taking requests for help seriously is especially spot on! We really don't like letting "weakness" show and so it takes so much out of us to admit we actually can't handle something on our own and need assistance.... If someone we trusted with this brushes it off, it can hurt a lot.

Czesc ! it is open discussion, I don't want to be rude... but I would like to meet the Polish women you describe. I met a lot poles in my Eramus in Czechia, I've already lived 4 years in Poland, and started a new work in Krakow : all Polish women I met had distusting behaviour with me. For example, today I raised a complainst against some female vendor at the cafeteria in my company. As I understand well Polish language, I knew they were mocking at me and my appearance. I don't think it is a good behaviour. Or I can tell, those who make you think a beautiful story is starting, but dont give any news after. Yesterday, at work I met a friendly women, who asked information. She thanks me touching my arm... but... actually, hearing her accent, she was ukrainian.

I've reached a point where I can distiguinsh a Polish and an Ukrainian women in the street. Ukrainian ladies seems, sometime smiles at you. Polish women act very masculine. they walk like men, they talk like men and are generally very rough. Which is of course mainly because of societal problems where they had to undergo a lot of stress and hardships. consequently going through stress and hardships naturally lead to having masculine traits.

If you really want to attract a polish girl get invited to a polish wedding express some interest in one or two singles and a date well likely be arranged by friends. Charm her by being well mannered and polite and admiring her 2-flat. After you are married (of course you well marry her - all of them are pretty if not gorgeous) live where she tells you (within reason). After that it's just a matter of realizing that what is hers is hers. And what is yours is hers. 35 years later it has worked out pretty good for me. Just try to keep the rental property acquisitions to a dull roar and sell them before you hit 55.
