Polishing a large bone by hand

This is a camel bone with some meat and fat. When it is cleaned and polished, it becomes a great work of art.

кость нужно было обработать паром, а не горелкой, обезжирить в бензине и отбелить пару суток в перекиси водорода. кость стала бы намного красивее - белая, а не серая.

Я не знаю, возможно вы хотели, чтобы цвет кости оставался таким. Но я предварительно вываривал кость с отбеливателем. И тогда все остатки крови и прочей органики полностью вывариваются. Особенно внутри. А кость становится РАВНОМЕРНО БЕЛОГО, или даже КРЕМОВОГО ЦВЕТА!!!!!!

Не знаю для чего используют такое, но если её полировали только ради блеска, томожет лучше вместо этого мастерить домики для бездомных животных. И если фантазия работает хорошо такого можно понастроить из бросового материала. Две прользы: и животные с жильем и мусора на земле меньше.
