Hey Woody, I'm loving this tutorial......please show a video of the Tamiya paint too......I'm soooo very interested buddy!!!!!!!! This is such a helpful thing especially for myself....I do have an airbrush & I use it, however I like the spray cans sometimes & I want the same results U achieve from the polishing products......thanks Woody!!!!!!!!

Nice tutorial again Woody. I do have a can of the extreme lacquer clear but don’t have the Tamiya compound so I’m wondering if you’ve ever tried that same thing with the 3M compound?

I will give it a try I think.it my be a little aggressive but heck don't know till you try.

What will happen if a compound is aggressive?

@@FuelsModels ok good to know. I have test piece only has extreme lacquer paint no clear coat. I tried out the Maguires compound using microfiber towel made the paint smooth. I'll have to look at it in the sun for any marks in the two spots I used it. I was going to skip wet sanding my bodies and only use the compound.? After how smooth test piece felt.

I only polish the clear polishing metallic can cause problems .

How many coats of clear did you put on it? Bodies I mentioned last night, I have this clear coat to paint on them. 3 cars I used extreme lacquer paint on. One body is white gloss enamel. Will clear extreme work on the enamel paint?

I don't use Lacquer over enamel it could react badly.

How long did you wait between clear coat and wet sanding? I just clear coated my bodies.
