I am so happy to have come across this channel. Despite my level of Polish A0, I understand every single word. All things are explained so simply! (and I know that making something to be simple is very hard). And as a bonus, I get aesthetic pleasure because I look at such a beautiful smiling woman. Thank you.

I had a weird phrase given to me at the Christmas market. Ordering food at a food stall, I asked "How long will it take before it is ready?", and the lady answered, " Na już ". As far as I understand, It means "immediately"?
@PolishwithDorota11 ай бұрын
Yes, "na już" means that it will be ready immediately.

@@PolishwithDorota You have some really excellent videos! I have one question..how would już translate to English from your sentence above: 'następna lekcja już jutro'? Thank you very much
@PolishwithDorota5 жыл бұрын
@@Calverkristina hmm... that's a tricky one. I guess "the next lesson already tomorrow" doesn't sound good in English. I'm not an expert in English but maybe "as early as tomorrow" would be fine.

These are great! One comment though... can you change the font from white to black on future videos as it is hard to see.
@PolishwithDorota7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment. :) The font is white because the backgroud is black. Or you mean the subtitles? Then the colour is default.
@paulineearl4377 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your explainations, very good..still not quite clear .. I need to turn on the subtitles ..not sure how to...
@PolishwithDorota7 жыл бұрын
Thank you :) To turn the subtitles you need to click the little icon in the down right corner of the screen (there are four icons there, this is the one on the left). You can also choose the language by clicking settings (the gear like icon) and clicking subtitles and then choosing language (Polish and English available).

@PolishwithDorota Жыл бұрын
Dzień dobry. Nagram niedługo lekcję na temat "swój". :) To może znaczyć to samo co "mój, twój, jej...", ale kiedy ta osoba mówi o rzeczy, którą ma (wiem, brzmi trochę skomplikowanie). Tak krótko: Np. Mam swoją książkę. = Mam moją książkę. Ty masz swoją książkę. = Ty masz twoją książkę. Ona ma swoją książkę = She has her own book. Ona ma jej książkę. = She has another woman's book.

now I am learning Polish in Poland and I thınk that's the most difficult language all over the world. Now my Polish level is A1 I stıll learn from day to day but I was wondering to how can I learn fastest this language? for example if find great native Polish friends, is this exatly helpful to me ? Please help me about this situation...
@PolishwithDorota7 жыл бұрын
Hello! Polish is not very easy, but nothing is impossible! :) To learn faster, try to surround yourself with Polish - change you language on FB and phone to Polish, listen to Polish music, watch Polish movies (there are a lot Polish movies with english subtitles on KZbin). You can also find Polish friends and make tandem - you can teach your language and they will teach you Polish. Also, just being with Polish people will help you a lot - you will litsen and learn some words from the context. Good luck! :)
