Nice job Jeff, thrashing the colleague in her absence. Very classy!

We should be banning American marine traffic from the Inside Passage. Last time I checked, the narrow channel between Vancouver Island and the Mainland was Canadian territorial waters. If the American fishing vessels, fuel barges and cruise liners want to go from Seattle to Alaska - they can stick to international waters, and stay the heck out of our backyard. (Not wanted in our bathtub.)

Why is Canada reacting like this? Are they children? Just fix the border and no tariffs. Trump has been crystal clear. But why do that when you can cry and resist instead. Good choice! 😂

I'm a canadian conservative and I agree that we can work with Trump to find solutions to benefit both sides. But "fixing the border" What makes you think it's Canada that's the problem? The US needs to do their part too

Canadian here Canada has funded $1 billion dollars to secure the borders. I just watched that on the news clip. two days ago I watched another news clip that had six Americans come in through the border of Manitoba due to the cold weather they were in critical condition. They have been sent back to the United States. I wonder as a Canadian if us doing this fixing our borders is going to do anything because statistics and facts show that what your president is saying that guns and fentanyl are sneaking into your country is at 1% but what’s sneaking in from your country is a much higher percentage he is right about one thing tho we do have to invest more into our military

Isn’t bringing jobs, more trade and helping business against what the NDP does? If they pull it off I would be so proud of them. It’s sad what it took for them to even be honest about the economic reality but I’m happy they are waking up and are open the fixing things. No more gaslighting and fixing things would be so refreshing.

Trump is targeting Canada with tariffs for the same reason he wants to buy Greenland - resources and geography. He wants what we have at the cheapest price. And our help keeping China out of the north. Our best option is to put up with some short term pain while we look for more trustworthy trading partners before we start expanding our existing resources.

12:30 Pro tip: The NDP were formed by unions and workers. Yes, the keep the environment high on their list, but not before good paying jobs.
@polishtheday12 күн бұрын
Unless your union job is fighting fires, in emergency services or rebuilding after a disaster, dealing with climate change should be ahead of making more money. I’m all for unions, but there comes a point where more money is meaningless if you don’t have a good work/life balance. Many times I’ve opted for less pay in exchange for job autonomy, shorter hours and more weeks of vacation. I’m retired now, but when I look back, I’m glad I chose happiness over money.
