Any body who thinks of justifying orop should try to understand the scenario right from the base level of the concept. Those sitting under a fan or cooler or A/C can"t understand the pain a defense person undergoes. This is because the service personnel are well disciplined while the babus are not. As such I request such persons to go through the problem taking the pain one takes on duty.(1) Working hours and facilities provided for so called ' babus' when compared with soldiers or any defense person and the life style deference between those two...... like ..... leave, married life, children brought up, looking after dependents at home, and facilitation of leaves and the way they are granted etc. etc. when war takes place then see the fun: civilians apply for leave, if not sanctioned they go off not bothering the consequences but that can"t take place in the case of a defense person. Last but not least is attending the funeral of parents also lies in the hands of some superior officers. i am ashamed to state that the marriage also takes place as per the rules and regulations. Now think whether the OROP should be paid as per the request of the retired soldiers or so called "Babus" who enjoy their job in peace time and war time alike? Jai Hind.

pension wef 01 Jan 16 vide 7th pay commission was reduced to low by introducing new rule of giving 50 percent of last pay drawn on retirement/ prematured retirement instead of giving 50 percent of the last pay scale of the rank as it was being given prior to 01 Jan 16. Therefore pension of retirees of later age gone down in comparison to those retired earlier. Now OROP at exact and correct calucation can not be worked out. To reach on a solution pension of earlier retirees be upheld to their correct and lawful entitlements and thereafter pension of later retirees (retirees wef 01 Jan 16) be brought at par.

I Sub Maj Deep Kumar Choudhary state that Armd forces fights to protect a nation. Why lower ranks are not considered while framing any policy.
