What Xi, Putin, Trump, Mao, AmitShah-MohanBhagwat are doing is called "Autocracy". Autocrats ARE THE PROBLEM. Its always the 'people in power' who are the problem. A man with 2 roti will share if he's good. A man with 1 million roti will still ignore hungry people if he wants. Any problem in world can be mapped to A person or small group of persons. Once they are gone, that problem is gone. Communism, socialism, democracy, monarchy are just guidelines, ways or suggestions 'people in power' can follow if they like. Autocrats are found everywhere. Now, Communism in PRC is just restricted to name of the party.

Most Indians here do not know what really going on on Jack Ma's case, let me briefly go over 1) He built a huge on-line shopping system, as we all know. 2) Many young people (in China) wish to do online shopping but no money 3) Jack Ma said, no problem, I can loan you money. 4) But even Jack Ma does not have money to loan, so he plans to develop a system (a company) that wealthy people can invest to get a higher return, consequently, with the money (2% from Jack Ma's pocket and 98% from investment), he can give the loan to the young online shopper. 5) Similar system already there in China for years, many young people unable to pay back the loan, .......... cause all kinds of social problems. 6) If this kind of system continues, China will be like India, where one rich guy family can own a high-rising build in Mumbai while millions living in the Dharavi slums, or like USA, where rich guys living in Beverly hills while there are miles and miles of tents of homeless people. 7) Deng Xiaoping said some 40 years ago, we can let some people get rich first and then, they need to help others moving out of poverty, Chinese gov't spent 10 billions of dollars to build billions of houses for poor people to move in for FREE, including the big population in Tibet and Xinjiang. 8) What Jack Ma did does not fit the mission of Chinese gov't, the gov't of the people, by the people and for the people, that's why the gov't step in, to end the monopoly of Jack Ma's system. 9) China is a socialist country, that's why even lose money Chinese gov't build highspeed train system for the wellbeing of common people, unlike in India or the USA, where the gov't actually is the gov't of 1%, by the 1% and for the 1%.

When the question about communism vs capitalism comes i just point towards germany and japan. How these countries who were badly defeated durind WW2 became so prosperous within a span of 2 or 3 decades ? is just mind boggling. The answer is capitalism.

Probably a good time for India to invite Alibaba group to invest in India now that his home country has turned cold to him
@pranayvaka11133 жыл бұрын
Alibaba survived because there is not foreign online retail store in China(companies like Amazon are banned). India is strictly avoiding Chinese investments.Given two giants are already fighting(Reliance and Amazon),doubtful if Alibaba will be big here.However, If Jack Ma gets such an idea,he ill go 'missing' .

@@pranayvaka1113 What you said is true for e-retail. But in fintech the market is still raw and the battle seems to be between Google Pay and Paytm, with Google Pay dominating. If positive signals are sent to Alibaba to up their investment in Paytm and ensure those investments are protected, then it could be a more even battle and ensure a win for innovation.

@Sumeet tanwar Paytm mall, is an Indian company, every company takes foreign funding to grow. HDFC bank is 70% owned by foreign investors does that make HDFC bank not Indian? That's not how it works.

@@savithakl7577 Every company does charity(CSR mandatory as per companies act), and every company avoids and evades taxes. Just as you said, they are known to do so and so. Perceptions are not reality. If I were running a company, I would try to avoid taxes too, and so would you, if ur business had to survive. Avoiding taxes is not illegal btw, as proved in the vodafone cairns case. Tata does it too through a web of charity organisations. Fun Fact: If congress or any other party comes to power, even they won't probe anything.

I have a Chinese friend who told me that we do not have democracy in China but the Chinese Communist Party has some sort of democracy internally where a capable person gets selected in top positions and the party has very well educated people in it. Ideas like Belt and Road and other economic programs cannot be conceptualized by incompetent people so in a way he believed that their system was better than democracy especially in developing countries.

I am Chinese. My problem with Indian is that they like to talk. But Chinese are only interested in results. So you can spend all your time talking about Xi-nomics and what is wrong with it, but you can not deny that China is the first country coming out of this pandemic as victor in both economic and global politics. Case in point, China GDP growth is actually bounced back to 8 percent in June/July 2020. The pandemic is no longer a national threat. In addition, two of the main political and economic agendas, the RCEP and China-EU Investment Agreement, were successfully concluded. Let's don't even mention about the Chang'e Moon Landing and Return. So you see, China does not talk. They just make things happen. You can analyze whatever you want and make your opinions heard, but the reality is very different from what you talk about and wish for.

High praise for Shekhar Gupta ... Journalist Sucheta Dalal writes about how only the Indian Express stood up to the powers that be in the Ketan Parekh scam of 2001 ... Excerpt ... "What was remarkable was the wide circle of people that the scamsters had cultivated among politicians and media. Not only did they have senior editors of widely-circulated papers as open sympathisers, they were probably funding the operations of some others and had a complete lock on what should be written and how. Two well-known editors of struggling newspapers joined in a savage personal attack against us. It was probably the first time that journalists were passing off personal abuse about another journalist as first page "news". The Asian Age and the The Pioneer neither of which has any readership worth talking about, but are backed by dubious financiers, twisted some facts about us, made up some others, laced it with nasty innuendo and printed it on the front page .... The only exception is the Indian Express Group. At a time when so many newspapers were hand-in-glove with scamsters or were busy reporting society tattle, only the Express continued to support investigative reporting despite enormous pressure. For that the credit is entirely due to Shekhar Gupta, Editor-in-Chief & CEO." www.amazon.in/SCAM-Debashis-Basu-Sucheta-Dalal/dp/8191013401/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=the+scam&qid=1609242181&sr=8-1
