We are all agreed that fuel subsidy should go, but President Tinubu should have started work first and taje a look at all the issues concerning fuel subsidy before removing it. Nothing stops President Tinubu from leaving the fuel subsidy for another year and request for a supplementary budget to fund it. Within that year, he would have worked out things that will mitigate the effects of the removal of fuel subsidy.

@AyoFayose vs TVC News. I watched the appalling interview on TVC News, where Fayose made reference to successive governments in Ekiti state. Fayose said "Fayemi don't even do any". The correct grammar or sentence is "Fayemi didn't do any of those things"... This is basic past participle and not present tense. Pls go back to school and learn basic English and grammar. Stop embarrassing your children and family, and sensible Nigerians. TVC News should let Nigerians know if they've employed, or paying, this yeye man to frequently appear on TVC News.

Mr. Teacher, you were wrong either. The sentence you corrected was past tense and NOT past participle . Do or didn't was not used as main verbs by Gov Fashoye. If It were used as main verbs ; it would have been: Fayemi had not done anything; then (DONE) would have come as past participle of DO. Simply : DO present DID past DONE Past participle. DIDN'T is the contraction of DID NOT which is used to form the negative of the past tense. Therefore, DIDN'T is used in the past tense and NOT past participle.
