Dr Ralph Wilde doesn't just dismantle Israel's illegal occupation PoliticsJoe. He dismantles the legality of Britain's mandate to create a Jewish state on Palestine in the first place! Very interesting and watertight, legally. It will of course be completely ignored by the US lead west but, to have this complete undoing of this thing they call "Israel" on the court record is important nonetheless.

It was much too long. But in 1948, the rights of indigenous people weren't recognized by many countries. In Canada they didn't get to vote until the 1960s, or to use the courts until the 1970s. Things are different now. Indigenous people always stood with Palestine, because they are indigenous, but now they have the power to make a difference. It's going to be a long fight but it will be worth it.
@izak53562 ай бұрын
@@adamjones3818lmao. Israel was founded of the massacre of like 12 different villages of Palestinians who were already living there. As of the last 4 months, less than 2000 Jews have been killed, and over 30000 Palestinians have been killed, most of which were women and children. So get bent with that "BOTH SIDES!" nonsense. The October 7th terrorist attack is horrific and wrong, but it's like comparing a school shooting to the bombing of Hiroshima. Both tragic, but incomparable in terms of scale.

It’s probably the most legally legitimate state ever. It was created out of one of the remnants of the Ottoman Empire’s occupation of the Levant. It has over 3500 years of Jewish history, it was ratified by the UN and it’s created out of a part of the Jewish indigenous homeland. If it’s illegitimate then so is Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq because they were also created out of League of Nations mandated former Ottoman land.

@@MrMabloom When the Jew returned, there was no Palestinia or Palestinians. The whole consept is made by the Brits, who first sold and then gave land for the Israelis. During the process of returning back to Israel the Jew started cultivating the desert land nobody wanted. They succeeded so well, that the Arabs from the surrounding countries wanted their share of the wealth Jew created. So they also started to move in Israel en mass. Soon the Islamists decided that they as "superior people owned" the land and Jew shoud get of the way or die. They also adopted nazi-ideology. When I was younger, I studied the holocaust in depth. Learning about the Palestinians' plight over the years and watching the current genocidal slaughter going on. I am of the opinion that the people of Israel are taking their intergenerational trauma out on the Palestinians. The victims have become the perpetrators. It is horrifying to witness. If you are in the USA, please call your representatives and tell them our tax dollars cannot go to Israel to support this madness. And to stop the genocide.
@BMD742 ай бұрын
@@mikem683 FYI June 1967, the invading forces of Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Palestinian guerrilla with bases in Syria attacked Israel. Israel captured and gained control over Sinai Peninsula, Gaza Strip, West Bank of the Jordan River, Old City of Jerusalem and the Golan Heights. Under the International War Laws, the right of conquest gives Israeli the right of ownership to those lands. Sinai was returned to Egypt. So called Palestinians should be grateful they are allowed by the Israeli government to live in Gaza and be happy that Israelis are not sadistic Islamic Arab killing raping haters. Palestinians are refugees and Occupiers. Palestine is an area of land. So called Palestinians are a mix of neighbouring Arabs people living in Gaza. They want to be Refugees forever in order to keep financial aid from idiotic Western governments who would do well to spend that Taxpayer money on their homeless people! Under International Law, The right of Conquest is a right of ownership to land after immediate possession via force of arms. The Islamic proxies of Iran; HAMAS, Hezbollah, Youthis, Al-Qaeda, etc had a grand plan to first provoke Israel in the worst way possible, use women and kids for human shields, put out tonnes of propaganda against Israel to turn the world against Israel. Decimate Israel off the face of this earth from the river to the sea. The problem is that the whole assault backfired on them. Their genocidal plan for Israel is failing so far

Which amusingly is now basically a failed state that can't consistently keep the lights on due to systemic corruption. In a very real way the destruction of apartheid, however immoral it was, has caused immense damage to what was a very successful and productive nation. Do you suppose creating a Palestinian nation would result in a peaceful beacon of liberal democracy and human rights? I think we both know the answer to that. The actions of the settlers and hard right in Isreal is evil. Full stop, we can be clear about that. So too are most of the resistance activities of the Palestinians which tend to be indiscriminate killings with no possibility of military or political benefit. However what would be more evil than either of the two would be the diminishing or destruction of a successful and prosperous nation that provides stability to millions, a beneficial participant in international trade, not to mention a regional power willing to stand against regional barbaric dictatorships. Moral authority ultimately flows from those nations and peoples who are successful.

Articulated the case very well and with evidence. I'd love to hear the defence against facts presented here. The world is watching 👀
