What's happened with the Bosman ruling and Brexit? After the Bosman ruling all football clubs in the EU were not allowed to discriminate against other EU nationalities, however they were allowed to discriminate against non-EU nationalities. So football clubs would be allowed a maximum of 3 non-EU players. Now after Brexit inside the EU is very simple British players are now non-EU players and every club is only allowed 3 non-EU players. In the UK, Brexit has forgotten the Bosman ruling, but this law needs to be updated to reflect the fact that the UK has left the EU. If the UK changed things to only allow 3 non-UK players it would kill the entire game right across the UK, no one would watch, the quality of the game would go down hill. If the UK decided to allow just any amount of non-UK players then the entire league would be full of Africans and South Americans, which would make the likes of Reform go nuts, but also there wouldn't be much room for British players. If the UK decided to allow only 3 non-UK or non-EU players, it shows the importance of the EU and how the EU makes the UK stronger. British football has massive benefits from having EU players, but admitting this wouldn't make Reform happy. I would like to know what Corbyn thinks Britain should do about the Bosman ruling after Brexit.

When will there be Rugby League Joe? Would Jeremy accept an invitation to go to a Warrington game with Lindsay Hoyle? Not recommended! Want to go to a ground with rainbow flags and sometimes a big banner laid on the pitch before games reading "Trans Rights Are Human Rights"? You have to go two levels down to League 1 for that, to Keighley (though they might still win promotion to the Championship). That's a turnup for the "coal in 't bath" image of rugby league, eh? Yes, but there's much you wouldn't expect about our working class game and communities if you know only stereotypes.
