I bought one of these from Korea for 400 bucks with a beautiful case. Needed nothing as far as tlc. I put flatwounds on her. She was unreal. I went and bought a bartolini pickup for the neck spot. Now it sounds like a Gibson l5. Im serious. Like you said when you find a good one, keep it. play it, will get better. I decided it was worth a nice pickup. I now almost never play it other than the warm neck. Through a quilter with a little reverb. Man oh man.

I got a nice Chinese one. Frets sharp but the sound, neck angle and feel is really good. It's earlier model and still has electric strings on it. Yours has a cool bridge. The pro 2 has a wood one

The korean made JP models are truly hidden gens. Of any model for any type of guitar for people to call a sleeper this is definitely it. Plays and sounds much better than many expensive archtops
