Polls set to close in France’s general election

Now polls close within the next hour in France's general election - and there's so far been a record turnout - the highest for almost 40 years.
The snap election was called just three weeks ago by President Macron - throwing the entire country into political turmoil. And it could hand a parliamentary majority to the far right.
