Recipe. 📌
3-4 chicken eggs.
Water.
2-3 potatoes.
Water.
Cook for 10 minutes.
cook until soft.
2 cucumbers.
Peel the skin.
2 small spoons of salt.
mix.
Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Peel the eggs.
dice them.
squeeze out excess liquid.
Add dill and spring onions.
Peel the potatoes.
dice them.
3-4 tablespoons of thick yogurt.
Mustard.
mix.
Healthy and delicious salad!

Et vous avez raison. Personne ne maigrira avec une salade composée, très basique de surcroit. La perte de poids est un ensemble de règles d'hygiène et point de vue nutrition, c'est plus complexe que ça. Aucun aliment n'a le pouvoir de faire maigrir qui que ce soit. Cela n'existe pas. Aucun aliment ne fait perdre de la graisse. Biochimiquement la graisse est utilisée comme carburant à la place du sucre mais aucun aliment ne contient à lui tout seul, des ingrédients "brûleurs de graisse". Il n'existe pas de "brûleur de graisse".

@@susankerr4945 Me, too. I consider this a "stating the obvious" video -- do we have to see her do everything to completion when there are several of things? And I find some of her methods a little weird. Those large potatoes would have cooked in a quarter of the time if she had cut them. Then have time to cool before peeling. Also, that dill looked a lot like parsley, which suits me as I dislike dill. Also not sure how a recipe with that much potato and egg helps lose weight. I like the salad though I hate (and cannot eat) yogurt, so would use mayo instead, but it would take me less time to make than this video took!

Since the addition of potato did not appeal to me, I made the salad but topped it with diced avocado and ate it with a high protein slice of toasted bread. Delicious...will make it again. Thank you!

@@sallyann1953 I did indeed make it again, it was so good that way. I just do not wish to combine a 'serious' carb like potatoes with my protein....even the bread has very very little carbs. Greetings from a Swiss living in Spain.

Es ist gabz sicher töricht, das Gurkenwasser wegzuschütten! Da sinf wertvolle Stoffe darin. Ebenso glaube ich nicht an diese 25 kg im einem Monat! Das wäre gefährlich, solche Rosskur in so kirzer Zeit. Lasst das Aufschneiden sein!! 😂

The full maths of how to achieve the weight loss ( it’s easy ) : 7700 calories per kg of body fat. To lose 25kg in a month you’d have to burn 192,500 calories. Which means a 6200 calories deficit per day. 3 boiled potatoes = 900 cals 4 eggs = 320 cals Veg = ~ 100 cals Yogurt depends but let’s be generous and say 100 cals. So 1420 cals a day consumed. Which brings the total deficit to 7620 calories a day in order to lose 25kg a month. The average person burns 100 cals per mile ran. So as long as you run 76 miles a day, you’ll reach your goal!

I noticed alot of comments about how slow the video is. However, some people are absolute beginners, lack confidence for simple things like even chopping and peeling. It works for them to see every detail. This is her leisurely cooking in her kitchen and we joined her for the ride. No need to always be in a hurry, life is busy enough. So even though I personally didn't need to see ever detail, there are people who do appreciate it.

Salat sieht gut aus, aber wie man Eier (und das sie geschält verarbeitet werden) und Kartoffeln kocht ist, glaube ich jedem bekannt und würde das Video abkürzen

She just does not want to make the video a little fast! She enjoys wasting time in peeling, cutting etc if there are 25 five potatoes or eggs or zucchinis she will peel each one on the video....I kind of loose my patience every time!!

Looks yummy. Cucumber, hard boiled egg, scallions and parsley and potatoes. Dressing yogurt (maybe Greek?) and mustard. Mix. Done.

I think the losing 25kg in a month is the draw card to get traffic to the site. People are impatient and want overnight success. This isn't it. I think it's also a typo it could or should be 2.5kg in a month.

@lovelife0413 I ate almost 2 cups and added a side of stewed chicken with vegetables. I had that dish for dinner. Yesterday, I ate it with a baked balsamic salmon. I'm making it again today...it's very delicious.

By the way I'm from south Louisiana where we are known for slow cooked fabulous meals. Jambalaya , Gumbo, Red Beans and rice are really great meals but all these quickie recipes for them done in 30 minutes aren't worth a crap . It's like eating rice cakes .The ingredients are there but there is no flavor . . Gumbo is always better if it simmers for hours. Then add some last minute ingredients like shrimp , crawfish tails, crab add right at the end, and oysters put in the serving bowl and pour hot boiling Gumbo over them. That is after the sausage ,chicken, turkey,rabbit, or whatever other meats you have in it has simmered till it melts in your mouth.

Pokud chce někdo natáčet videa , tak musí přistoupit na podmínky yutuberů, protože každé video musí mít určitou minutovou délku. Na to je smluvní vztah . Takže zkoukněre začátek , prostředek a konec a nebo si přečtěte napřed recenze lidí, kteří recept vyzkoušeli a jestli píší, že se zhubli . Jinak ten kanál nemá cenu sledovat .

Oh, I just caught it! It's parsley; but parsley isn't mentioned in the recipe. I'll use the dill I have and add parsley the next time I make the recipe. Your recipes always look delicious. Thanks for sharing them.

This is my first visit to this site and, sorry, but I was stunned that so many impatient viewers could be so unkind in their critiques. Please, give Polly a break. Not every person is as quick to follow recipe videos as fast as all of you seem to be. I am 82, and still cook 3 meals a day from scratch for family. I am just not as fast as I was when I was a lot younger. This video was just fine for me. If not, I would figure how to speed it up as some suggested. This recipe sounds very tasty. And I will try it. As for the cucumbers, I would not peel them if they were organic and thin-skinned. Otherwise I would. And since cucumbers exude a lot of liquid, the salting step is often recommended in dishes that shouldn't be watery, like this "mayonnaise-type" potato-egg salad. And yes, I do believe there may be some typos or errors in this presentation. But hey, who's perfect? Certainly not any of us human beings commenting here. Plus, I have never, ever read a recipe or anything else online that was completely error-free. We should always remember, "do unto others"; we can never be too kind-to anyone.

I think the losing 25kg in a month is the draw card to get traffic to the site. People are impatient and want overnight success. This isn't it. I think it's also a typo it could or should be 2.5kg in a month.

The steps in this video can be cut waaay down. We don't have to see every egg or potato dropped in a pan, and water poured, we know how to boil things. Every egg being chopped, every potato peeled etc.

Pour bien écaler les œufs sans petits morceaux de coquilles, les faire rouler une fois en avant et une fois en arrière sur une surface dure... ils sont prêts à être écalés !! Concernant les concombres, c'est faux de dire que le fait d'enlever l'excédent d'eau les rend plus croustillants, bien au contraire, mais ils sont tout simplement plus digestes !! Pour les pommes de terre, vous en gâchez beaucoup en les épluchant de la sorte alors qu'il suffit de racler délicatement la peau qui se détache toute seule. Ce n'est par ailleurs pas le bon choix de qualité, celles-ci se démolissent et sont en outre trop cuites. Bon voilà, j'ai joué la casse pieds mais, après avoir testé cette recette, je vous assure que c'est un pur délice !!! Bon appétit !!

J'ajoute mon grain de sel ? Il y a plus de 50 ans, on me faisait dégorger les concombres dans le sel une nuit, et rincer pour éliminer le sel. Pour les oeufs, on me les faisait refroidir dans un saladier plein d'eau froide, après les avoir cognés pour que la coquille éclate en petits morceaux, et ensuite, on les écalait. Pour les pommes de terre, bien enlever les points noirs. Je vais finir par apprendre l'allemand avec plaisir, grâce aux sous-titres automatiques ! Et, comme on dit en France, la critique (dans les commentaires) est facile, mais l'art (de la cuisinière) est difficile. Excellente journée, Polly, et bonne continuation ! J'oubliais : nous aimions une salade de chou rouge coupé en tout petits bouts, avec quelques pois chiches et du maïs, en hiver, et pas seulement pour les couleurs ! Merci encore, d'avoir rappelé le texte de la recette dans la description. C'est plus facile pour la noter dans un cahier..

Watching from the Philippines. For senior citizens like me, I like the slow video so I can write down the recipe. Our generation is not techie plus our age so we are ok that it is delivered slowly. I will try this recipe and hopefully lose some weight. Thank you.

Speak for your senior citizen self, not our generation as a whole. Many, many of us are certainly techie enough to watch a video for pete's sake. On the other hand, I just speed these videos up to 1.5 speed to get through it faster for this 77 year old senior.

The USA here :) 🇺🇲I actually saved this nice recipe, I would modify it as follows: 1. I would not put that much salt, maybe just decorate with red caviar when done for taste and no salt at all? 2. If adding a tiny amount of salt, the intercellular water is extracted with the nutrients: why toss it, use it! 3. Salt or no salt, cucumbers are healthy because of their water content that naturally is rich in electrolytes, vitamines l, and minerals. This water also helps to flush kidneys. Do not toss it: mix with Icelandic yogurt, half lime and some dill in a blender-made drink, heavenly! Garnish with fresh mint leaves. Do not add any sugar nor salt, imo. 4. The cucumber middle can be cut out and use for (3.) drink, the outer layer diced, no need to squeeze it than; a fresh cucumber is crispy by itself 4. I will eventually try a touch of mustard in yogurt, but I have doubts about it. Maybe something similar to tzatziki sauce instead? 5. It is good they cook potatoes in skin to preserve potassium that is essential for lowering blood pressure. However one may also bake in a wet paper in microwave to preserve all the potassium and more of vitamines, particularly C with it's co-vitamin PP. 6. Potatoes are high in both glycemic index and glycemic impact, so maybe use half of potatoes they show in the recipe. ------I also propose :) below a faster delicious alternative of my own invention with very similar ingredients: Bite sized mini egg and cucumber sandwiches with caviar drizzle recipe idea: A. Bake a potato and cut in circular slices B. Hard-boil eggs and cut in circular slices C. Drain and drink the water that collects itself on top of most bottled dense Icelandic style yogurt to make the yogurt that is left even more dense D. Blend the yogurt with peeled fresh cucumbers, Florida key lime, dill, experiment adding a touch of other herbs (like mint or basil or parsley) but very carefully, check a small quantity for your taste first E. If using whole cucumbers, lime, then it makes a drink. If using a bit of non-watery off-the-middle part of a cucumbers and just a little bit, it will make a denser sauce, for which use less lime. Some herbs like parsley are for the sauce only, while dill and a touch of mint are good for both the sauce and the drink. You can make the sauce after the drink in the same blender. After the sauce is ready you may add minced green onions or shallots or even minced garlic, but first experiment with a small quantity if you and your intended "culinary audience" like it :)! F. Finally, cut a whole large chilled cucumber in circular slices. Optional: cut quality black bread in small squares. This is the base for the mini-sandwiches. G. Stack bread, potato, cucumber, egg slices with the egg slice on top. Or just cucumber and egg sliceses for a less caloric version. In-between put a thin layer of the sauce, putting a few grains of red caviar on each layer of sauce. Use a touch of unsalted Finnish or Indian or Irish butter on the bread and potato layer if you want a more caloric version. Unsalted because caviar drops add enough salt. Tiny pieces of minced marinated herring (spekesild, saltzhering, селёдка) may be substituted for caviar if you aim for a casual version, but this would drastically change the taste of the dish to a different one! Caviar makes it elegant and feel luxurious. A tad more caviar grains on the sauce that is over the top egg. Leave some bright yolk visible for presentational value :). Garnish each mini-sandwich with a touch of minced dill and a fragrant mint leaf. H. These are bite size sandwiches. They can be served with a side plate containing peeled perl mini-onions, very thin shallots, fresh basil, bright yellow-orange "candy" variety tiny tomatoes on the vine, maybe even a few colorful berries if you feel adventurous (check each for taste and nutrients being compatible first) ... An exotic strand of white and/or red currants and a few green or yellow gooseberries would be perfect, imo, if you can procure it I. I do not see any other drink than say unsweetened green tea or unsweetened key lime water to go with it Finally, I think they lost 2 kg (about 5 lbs) tops, not "25 kg" in a month 😂

I would love to modify this cucumber salad . Only one egg with yolk the rest with eggwhites. The greens are great . No potatoes in cucumber salad untless you want to call it potato salad. Then a sauce with apple cider vinegar and olive oil little more salt and stir it and pour it into the salad. Little cider you don't want it too sour. Also watch the salt. and add dill Dill is really what makes your cucumber salad delicious. Yes and it is good and kind to your figure. Don't throw out the cucumber juice keeps the salad moist and if no one wants it just drink it.
