I remember being like 8 or 9 watching my eldest brother play KH1 and was in awe how good he was. Knowing it was too difficult for me. I never got to experience KH the way he did, but my middle brother and I got to at least share those moments with him. I remember this song specifically because he would come back to TT so much. Now he is all grown up with his own life, my middle brother married, and me soon to graduate college. Even though we are all grown up, I'll still remember these shared experiences we had.

Because the characters don’t need it anymore Traverse town it’s a world that’s only exists when some character lost his world taken by darkness A person that don’t have a world to live automatically will fly to traverse town When Sora locked the door to darkness all the worlds that was taken by darkness was reconstructed again and the characters from this worlds was teleported back to it So nobody need traverse town anymore But in kingdom hearts dream drop distance you can visit traverse town again with a new part of the town

I was super happy to see it again in DDD, but I can't help but being sad about the absence in KH3... This town was the first world in KH, it's so sad ! It's a chill piece, the first world that we go to after being forced out of Destiny Island. I consider it one of the OG worlds of Kingdom Hearts. It's a shame that it only appears when someone is in need of shelter after losing their home world. Butdear lord, this is one of the calmest and chill world when it isn't in the Realm Inbetween. Other than that, I remember spending hours here like most other people trying to figure out what the heck I was suppose to do. I still loved it because the atmosphere and mood for Traverse Town was so calming.

God, I remember being a little kid watching my brother play, and whenever he got back to Traverse town, I would immediately relax. Even as a kid I had really bad anxiety, and being undiagnosed Autism until I was 13, I didn't know how to handle many of my emotions. This song was one of the things that just...made me feel like things were going to be okay. It's one of the reasons why when I played KH 1 as a kid, I just stayed in Traverse Town for long periods of time. This song is so nostalgic to me, and brings back so many good memories. I could go more in depth as to WHY this song and the series in general is so special to me, but that should be saved for a video which I plan to make

This song brings an extra level of nostalgia for me... I remember when I was younger my dad had me play through this game while he watched and helped me with puzzles I got stuck on. It was a lot of fun, and once I got to Traverse Town, I remember getting really frustrated because I couldn't get to Donald and Goofy despite them being RIGHT THERE the whole time. My dad refused to help too because he thought my frustration was hilarious and would tease me every time I backtracked to an area I already knew they weren't in. A few years later, early this year during the summer to be exact, I tried my hand at playing it again and let me tell you I nearly broke down into tears as soon as this theme started playing. The fact that all these characters, all these character I grew up with to be exact, had lost their worlds and left homeless without their family and friends didn't really help much. Especially the dals though. In the end, this song will always warm me up with happy memories of playing this game with my dad, and bring me to tears just from the nostalgia of it all.

KH 1 will always be in its own tier for me. I actually loved the bizarreness and simplicity of how the Gummi ship levels looked. It added to the atmosphere I feel like. Also i loved the complicated level designs and the use of platforming for the worlds because it made them more rememberable. Also I just absolutely love traverse town to death lol. I feel like it could actually be a world in the astral plane or something like that. I feel like I’ve been there or to a place very similar to it. If you go to traverse towns theme on KZbin there’s many people that say it feels like home so i really wonder if it exists somewhere lol. Each game in the series has its own unique vibe and atmosphere but I just happen to prefer the more innocent, magical, heart opening vibe and atmosphere that KH 1 had (I copied and pasted this from another vid cause I felt like sharing lol)
