Dude! I was in Mons, BE from 1979 - 1982 working at NATO HQ. For my 22nd birthday I gave myself tickets to the Led Zeppelin concert in Brussels. As 'Trampled Under Foot' finished they all left the stage except Jimmy Page. He sat on a stool under a purple spotlight, the only light in the auditorium, and just jammed. Wonderful! Unseen by anyone, in the darkness the rest of them reset themselves on stage. Jimmy hits a long, low note....it gradually climbs into a really high scream, feeding back thru the amps, echoing throughout the place!! As it stops the only light, the purple spot, goes out and for a split second it's dead silence in total blackness. Suddenly three huge flash charges on stage blow up and they go right into 'Kashmir'! It's like, "BOOM!!! Duh-da-duh, Duh-da-duh, DUH-DA-DUH" I still get goose bumps when I think about it, and that was 45 years ago. Wow, now I DO feel 'old'. LOL!

Closest imo is Tool. Totally different, but also very similar in a lot of ways. They're both out of this world when it comes to talent and thinking outside the box. And both bands seem like they were created by some sort of outside force! 😂 The insane talent and chemistry between the different members is mind blowing! And the fact that they managed to find each other and create the most beautiful amazing music together is just incredible. We're lucky to be able to enjoy it!

From what little I know, Jimmy was a studio/session guitarist. Played with/for many singers, groups, and whatever came along. He was well versed in numerous styles of music before he became part of Led Zeppelin. I know nothing of any formal training he may or may not have had, but he was well versed in a lot of different guitar techniques, which (fortunately for all of us) led to his unique contribution to LZ.

Back in 2007 they had a tribute to the man that was the president of Epic Records that passed away. They announced that the remaining living members of Led Zeppelin was going to perform with Jason Bonham the son of the original drummer (John Bonham) of Led Zeppelin. In 2 hours 20 million tickets were requested from all different parts of the world for that tribute. That broke the all time record, the venue only hold 20 thousand, so they had to do a lottery system. Those lucky 20 thousand got to experience something special that night.

TOP 5 SINGER, TOP 5 DRUMMER, TOP 5 BASSIST. TOP 5 GUITARISTS EVER..... one of the greatest bands ever assembled. Grew up with them and the rumor was they were so good they had a deal with the devil. Lol but for real they are deep and wise and the heartbeat of them JOHN PAUL JONES is a master.................

All four members of Led Zeppelin are some of the best at what they play or do. They are not like anyone else and they are truly special I'm sure everyone is going to tell you that the studio version of this song is 🔥 but you know they are just going to kill it. Their love show was magic and when John Bonham the drummer died they broke up because they didn't think they could get anyone to learn the feel of the band. Awesome stuff.

You should start at the beginning of their 1st album and go all the way through their albums - in chronical order. They have some live pro shot video to watch as well. This video was a bit more than half through their career. The drummer passed away five years and four months after this video was shot. Please start at the beginning with these guys. I just subscribed to your channel. Nice review. They were the biggest and best selling band of the 1970s. They knocked The Beatles out of No 1 in 1970. 😮 🙂🙌

Whoever is mixing the live audio deserves a god damn medal! If you notice the sound and vocals were a bit rough at the beginning but it got exponentially better and better as they played...

The Mighty Led Zeppelin was know for improvising alot in their live shows never playing a song the same way twice. I once had tickets to see Led Zeppelin when I was 14 years old but sadly the drummer died and the tour was cancelled...

Zeppelin is great. I wouldn’t compare them with Tool. To me Tool is more of a modern version of Motörhead. My favorite Zeppelin tune is, The Battle of Evermore. It’s epic in scope and ties in imagery of Tolkien. Love the content, Polo. Keep killing it!!
