You guys should've seen the Christian conservatives in our country hate on this song...Radio station boycotts, TV ads decrying L.Z. as Satan worshippers, etc..didn't stop the Zepplin from rising to the top, just made ;em more popular to the kids.

Led Zeppelin live in Madison Square Garden in 1973 is a perfect concert. Live performances from LZ were often better than the studio albums and they changed up the performances…musicianship is unbelievable and often done on the fly. Take a look at Dazed and Confused or Whole Lotta Love live and get some Jimmy Page playing guitar with a violin bow…awesome.

I do hope you explore a lot more of Led Zeppelin's music. The guys are/were incredibly creative and gifted musicians, and their influence on rock music is immeasurable . As one music critic wrote, "Led Zeppelin’s impact on music was huge and still is today. Their ability to mix genres and their innovative studio work...still shapes the changing world of rock music." As far as reading lyrics on a first listen, imo it's best to just let the music flow, soak it up. If you miss some lyrics, you can look them up afterward. If you do a deep dive into Led Zeppelin, you're in for the ride of your life! No other band like them, ever. :)

The Doors and their songs Roadhouse Blues, L.A. Woman and Riders On The Storm. The Allman Brothers Band and their songs Whipping Post and One Way Out. Chicago and their songs 25 Or 6 To 4, and Make Me Smile. Blood, Sweat & Tears and their songs God Bless The Child and You've Made Me So Very Happy. The group Journey and their song Don't Stop Believin'. The band Boston and their songs Peace Of Mind, Foreplay/Long Time and More Than A Feeling. Endless choices to feed your ears and mind. Singer Robert Plant is one of if not the greatest singers, he has amazing range tone & textures, you haven’t seen anything yet. These guys also perform with real passion, they love what they do, & especially in live performances you can see & feel it. The singer writes the majority of their lyrics, the others do too, these lyrics were all the singer though. They do have several amazing covers of old blues, that they enhanced to perfection.
