There has been no change in the dam construction due to the depth of the hard strata; this was the original plan. Additionally, please note that the ECRD requires a foundation. Generally, ECRDs do not have gates; instead, flow is managed through service gates at the spillway and sluice gates. Also, a diaphragm wall is not used as a base or foundation; rather, it supports the walls of the excavated zone to prevent collapse.

2018 చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం స్పీల్ వే స్పీల్ ఛానల్ కంప్లీట్ చెయ్యకుండా డైయాఫ్రమ్ వాల్ నిర్మించి 2019 2020 లో వచ్చిన వరదలకు దెబ్బ తినడాని కారకుడు అయ్యాడు...జగన్ ప్రభుత్వం ఇప్పుడు 48 గేట్లు పెట్టి స్పీల్ వే స్పీల్ ఛానల్ పూర్తి చేసింది. అలాగే ఎగువ దిగువ కాఫర్ డామ్స్ పూర్తి చేసింది. అలాగే జలవిద్యుత్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ పూర్తి కావచ్చింది. దెబ్బతిన్న డైయాఫ్రమ్ వాల్ కేంద్ర కమిటీ నిర్ణయించే వరకు ఏమిచెయ్యొద్దని ఆపింది. ఇప్పుడు చంద్రబాబు చెయ్యవలసిన పని తాను చేసిన తప్పును డైయాఫ్రమ్ వాల్ మళ్ళీ నిర్మించడం కమీటీ నిర్ణయం తరువాత వెనక జలాలు వలన మునిగే గ్రామాలకు R&R డబ్బు పూర్తిగా ఇవ్వడం... అప్పుడు పోలవరం పూర్తి అయినట్టు.... ఎవరికన్నా అనుమానం ఉంటే యూట్యూబ్ లో 2019 ముందు పోలవరం స్టేటస్ ఎలావుంది ఇప్పుడు ఎలా ఉందో చూడవచ్చు. గూగుల్ మ్యాప్ లో అంత స్పష్టంగా చూడవచ్చు..
