This is great - a nice structured approach to help learn some techniques - One point I noticed right away is that you like to create lots of seperate objects - I think somewhere along the line I have picked up the notion of creating objects as one mesh and it was great to break things down into a bunch of elements which I feel can work well andd enable a worflow that is very adaptable

18:24 when I transferred the modifiers to everything else, some of the mesh was trying to snap to the center origin point, making the front of the building distorted. I switched from Edges to Vertices in the Bevel modifier tab and that fixed the problem. 18:35 I got some distortion effects when smoothing (looks like black areas in the mesh). I selected the objects with this problem, then went into Edit mode, then did Mesh>Normals>Smooth Vectors. This fixed the problem for me. I am still new and not sure if this is a proper fix, but maybe it will help some others with this problem.

If anyone struggles with the bevel modifier (I did), you probably have duplicate verticles. This can be solved by selecting the object that has the problem -> go to edit -> at the top left you can see mesh; click that -> hover over merge -> choose Merge by distance. Hereafter add the bevel modifier. This will likely solve the issue for the object. This and other possible problems are also explained in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJXPlHR6a6uFptE

Its kinda glitchy but to fix mine I also disabled 'clamp overlay' under geometry. That stopped my mesh from stretching towards the origin when I added the bevel modifier.

I like the way you are so consistent at explaining the moves you are executing. This was a very fun tutorial. Thanks for all your time and effort. You covered modeling, materials, rendering and lighting in one tutorial. This is so important as we do not learn "in a bubble". We need real world application. Thank you my friend.
