This makes me rethink how I approach modeling. Your "block out --> refine --> detail" setup is down to a fine art. Gotta slow this down and study up on a few things. Great work 🙌

@@oe4038 I always just use the KZbin controls directly. Are they not working for you on this video? I haven't tried yet but will take a look.

@@SourPlanet Yes, but x0,25 is still too fast for me to follow. I tried vlc x0,1 but it distorts the image and I can't follow it anyway...

@@oe4038 Ah, bummer. Usually pausing in KZbin and then using period/comma to scrub frame by frame works for me. There's always the doofy but plausible version where you download DaVinci Resolve (free), drag the video in there, right click it on the timeline, and slow it down to any speed you can imagine. Is there something specifically you're trying to pick out? I may be able to help.

@@SourPlanet thank you for your help! Period/comma buttons are working great for me. There are quite a few things I can not figure out. Too many to start asking... anyway I am trainned enough to keep on duddling and finding out the solutions to my problems. It's just a matter of time. Thanks again!

Passing a gradient into a colourramp is one of those absolutely brilliant things you would never think of as a beginner but seems so obvious in hindsight.

When you add a circle or plane, you don't need to rotate them. In the parameters (bottom left), change "Align : world" to "Align : view". Ortherwise, i love your art !

I want to watch this, but without it being a timelapse. And just the normal speed with music in the background. You are doing so many small techniques that seems to work so well, that is hard to decode during the timelapse. Even if the video is going to be several hours long, I'd love to see it. Great job!

I personly think its unhealthy to keep watching and following tutorials. I notice I feel much better about my work when I make it myself and didn't recreate something that already exsists.

@@Web3DArtist I disagree about it being unhealthy, for those starting out with blender its the only way that you will find out how to do/use certain functions and 100% the way to go to learn how to use blender.

You dont repeat on shift + d, if you want to apply changes on all duplicated objects press instead alt + d

How do you change all the windows at the same time, for example on 2:13 using Ctrl+R and Bevel? I joined them all in 1 mesh but haven't a clue how to do this

I would love to take another try at Blender. My first and only go was making a simple table for The Sims 2 way back in the day, but my computer was not having it as I recall loud fans and slow mouse response, so I haven't given 3D software a 2nd chance sense.

i sat here and watched the whole video at 0.25 speed LOL--- i love learning all your techniques!! how did you apply an edit all the way around the building? (for example the window trims at 10:49) do you have a mirror modifier on the window collection maybe?

These are great but can you share your lighting process or techniques a little more. I only saw you briefly flash to your rim light at 4k watts and don't know what else to do to recreate your work. Thanks.
