Fiona Able Smith, you are the queen of polymer canes. This cane is absolutely magnificent. Looking at the finished product, I feel as though I am falling into an other world dimension. I am in awe at the creativity of your mind and wonder what it is that you see in your minds eye when you plan such pieces of art. Thank you so very much for sharing your talent with us! ❤

This is insane. I've never worked with clay, but just picked up a brick of white polymer the other day to try to make some coasters and I came across this video. What beautiful work. I would have never guessed that it was all done by hand.

Dearest Fiona I feel you must have done polymer clay works for years. You make it look so easy. You are a very talented lady. You are work is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your methods and ideas. I was wondering have you ever done bead videos? If so were do I find them or who would you recommend?
@FionaAbelSmithPolyOriginals3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Mary. No I haven't done many bead videos on KZbin, I have a hollow bead one, where I make large hollow beads when I was comparing the different brands of clay. I have an Etsy tutorial where I make beads with a kaleidoscope pattern on them - links at the end, but I think you would find fantastic bead videos if you look at Turtle Soup Beads, Susan does wonderful bead tutorials - www.bing.com/videos/search?q=turtle+soup+beads+youtube&qpvt=turtle+soup+beads+youtube&FORM=VDRE :) Also look at Teresa Salgado - kzbin.info :) and Meg Newberg of Polymer Clay Workshop - kzbin.info :) My tutorial are here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpK4h5lqotOXaqM and on Etsy here - www.etsy.com/uk/listing/582498253/fun-kaleidoscope-cane-tutorial-polymer? I hope that gives you loads of inspiration and you make lots of wonderful beads ;)

Fiona is it possible to give the gram size of the clay to do the Skinner blends. I use clay that I have available and I weighed it in the amounts that you give under the requirements, but it's not all fimo. Some is premo and the size is different and now I am not sure. Sorry to be a pain 😔
@Anneliedsc3 жыл бұрын
Fiona don't worry I just used my own amounts 😃
@FionaAbelSmithPolyOriginals3 жыл бұрын
I give the amounts in the large original sizes, and then show how I have cut them up to do the Skinner Blends, so for instance I am using 1/4 blocks of small clay packs for each colour in the Skinner Blends, so 14g in each :)
