Hi there, you have me addicted. You are teaching me so much. You really made me laugh as my mum was from yorkshire, England and you said bobs your uncle, fannys your aunt and I only ever heard that from my mum. Also, my husband and I cook together and I asked him if he wanted me to chippy choppy the onions. So funny, he didn't get it. Anyway, I am grateful that I found you. God bless, Rita

I absolutely love your videos! I love listening to you talk, laugh and joke as you are creating and sharing! I am sad to hear about how nasty some people can be and the rude comments about your videos or explanations about certain techniques. Please don't let others steel your joy! If they have an issue they can choose not to watch. Some people can be extra nasty when they feel safe sitting behind a keyboard. My most favorite videos are when you are able to laugh at yourself, I really relate to that. Please continue to create content for as long as you feel inspired to do so. I am someone who really enjoys and learns from your videos! Thank you for all of the time, energy, heart & soul you invest in your creations and the content you share with the rest of us!

Thanks. I don’t think I’ve ever had someone criticize how I explain techniques, tbh, and thankfully, I’ve not been graced with any nasty comments, recently. You’re right, they feel safe behind their computers. I know for sure they wouldn’t say some of the things they’ve said, to my face. Thank you for watching, and I’m glad you’ve learned something!

@lisahaapaoja3838Ай бұрын
You really demystify caning. Clay all filthy, NP crack on! Forgot a piece, NP crack on! Run out of color of clay, NP just pick another one. Don’t like these colors, NP pick your own. Don’t like this cane, NP do it differently-completely different, and you’ve just made your own cane. Your slap dash approach comes out STUNNING!! If I really listen to you describing how to make something, what I hear is that there is no precision so there are no errors, just beautiful, unique canes! And I LOVE what you did with the raised canes on the white and adding the white resin in between. There really is something elegant about it! Thanks again for being “back”! And good luck on your hunt for a house, maybe with a premade craft space? 😊
@clayboutiqueАй бұрын
Hahahahahaha, not sure how to take all of that LoL. I know what I’m doing, honest 😂 Honestly, though, I’m just trying to show people that canes are like jigsaw puzzles, and you can change them as you go. This cane evolved from three canes prior to it. I kept it basically the same, but I didn’t like the colors on the first one, so tried different colors, slightly altered the second, and so on and so forth, until I got what I wanted. The three previous canes were still pretty nice, but not what wanted. I find that’s how I learn. I take slight offense at the ‘slap dash approach’ comment, because I don’t feel that’s what I do…I would say ‘more relaxed’ approach, and not to get so het up on precision. I love how you hear ‘no precision so there are no errors.’ I think that pretty much sums it up, but I actually hadn’t thought of it that way. Anyway, thank you! I hope my approach helps people feel more at ease with cane-making! 💜
@lisahaapaoja3838Ай бұрын
@ Oh that was a total compliment!!!! and an appreciation that you let us know we can make little blips here and there and a scary cane becomes a gorgeous finished product. I just think everyone thinks canes are scary because …. Oops the color got on the other colors, or forgetting where to put a piece or forgetting a part altogether, doesn’t mean you scrap it and waste all that clay. You just roll with it and know that most any little blip along the way doesn’t show up, you really have to trust the process and go with the flow. All I’m saying is that showing us the WHOLE process, good or bad gives me the confidence to try. I always think my glob of rolls and squished triangles must be garbage because it looks so weird, so I tend to try and tear it all apart and not trust the process. What you made was a weird looking glob and you said “trust me guys, this is going to work and this and that won’t matter” and holy moly it was amazing. I might try to get past the glob next time!
@clayboutiqueАй бұрын
Oh, I know…I was just teasing lol. Exactly right! Trust the process. Dogs’ dinners can turn into a magnificent feast for the eyes! I heard someone say, ‘don’t be afraid of clay. You control it, it doesn’t control you.’ I agree with that, most of the time, but let me tell you, I have done some really crappy canes. It’s a learning curve, and I just refuse to give up with them LoL!💜

And tipsy it’s been a long time little Buddy, we’ve missed you. As for a dog scaring the life out of ya, we have 2 that like to, lol the Great Pyrenees and the pug, they both will bark at nothing and stare at things like the kitchen counter, or places like that. Ya makes you wonder. lol well I’m happy for ya both, and guess a new craft room to dream about is in the works. lol did I tell ya already I’m going to be a great grandma, my granddaughter and grandson in law are expecting a little girl in May, how fun is that. I kept telling her I’m to you to be a great grandma, she didn’t listen. lol but that’s ok guess I will be in my younger 60’s not my younger 70 for this then. lol how it goes. What do i expect I was a young mom, a young grandma so going with the trend. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 again love the designs Tfs hugs ❤😊
