I know it's a year later, but I've just begun my clay obsession and found your fabulous channel! Love these so much!!! 😍 Thank you for your experiments! Your videos are the best!!

You came up with this ideal for clay because you have a creative mind that's what it takes to make these pieces. Not all of us can do that so I am glad you show us so we can create these also. Thank you

I think the seahorse & the browny one next to it are your best work you've ever shown us, truly gorgeous, thank you for showing this inspired new technique.

Not sure if it's a new technique but it sure is new to me and I really enjoyed making them. I cant keep secrets and I was about to crack the few days before I posted the videos

Katie, I have watched hundreds, perhaps a thousand polymer clay tutorials by various great artists over the last 5 or so years and never have I seen a stamp anywhere near clay or over resin for that matter so I honestly believe this is a first so name the technique & get more out there :) I would say it stems naturally from your tremendous work with translucent clay and resin, achieving an even more 3D layered effect. Your endless experimentation & perseverance is making waves now, enjoy it, and we thank you :)

Love, love, love the white ink! The layering is so cool. I think I'm going to grab some old unfinished pieces and add some stamping to them. Definitely love this technique.

Katie, this is exactly what I would love to achieve and you've done an amazing video. You come over as so down to earth too, which I can really endear to! You've created something so beautiful, but your instructions are so precise, I feel confident enough to give it a go? Thank you so much! x

OMG Katie, these are truly drop dead gorgeous and you have every right to be pleased with yourself. Amazing technique ..... you should claim it 😉 Love, love, love these!!!!!! Love crafting along with you, your excitement is infectious. I'm shouting 'Yes, it looks great as it is' or 'Yeah!! Do It!!' 😄 and holding my breath to see how something is going to turn out ..... great fun!! Don't worry about the sniffy nose, can't be helped, and if it annoys someone that much, they should switch off! I'm always too caught up in the moment to notice!! Love both pendants but just wondering, on the blue one, did you get the bubble effect just using the hair dryer technique? Loving the added on white bubbles .... adds a bit of life to the piece. Fantastic work, well done indeed!! 😊🤗😊🤗

Yup all was done w the hair dryer the staw gives me a different effect

After you stamp the design on the resin, do you bake again or just let dry and resin again ? I wasn't sure the stamping would smear when the resin was applied?
@katiegordon6104 жыл бұрын
I don't bake the resin I just dry it but s good permanent ink is key
@iraidar33643 жыл бұрын
It was great, I only wished that you already figured out what to do before starting to work on the piece. The piece looks great.

I'm new to polymer clay. I've been watching your videos and I'm totally sold. 😊 I have a question about alcohol ink. I live in Sweden and it seems hard to get some here so I was wondering if you know if I can use Acrylic Ink Liquitex instead. Love your videos
@katiegordon6104 жыл бұрын
I've never used those inks? Sometimes the blue bottle tree or the polymer clay tutor may have something on them and how they work w PC. Also ask some PC fb groups and see what other people have used. Sorry I couldn't answer better
@jessicaolsson63444 жыл бұрын
@@katiegordon610 thank you for the answer. I think I will try them.
@deanngardyszewski70585 жыл бұрын
If you put packing tape on the back and then resin, any flow over or excess resin pops off with the tape instead of sticking to your piece
@katiegordon6105 жыл бұрын
I'll try that
@katiegordon6105 жыл бұрын
It doesn't flow between the tape and piece even when it's slightly distorted on the edges?
