Hey Katie! Don't let yourself go crazy during the shutdown. You're way to talented for that. Can't wait to see what you've been doing. I'm still binge watching.

Loved the video! Would have also love to see you make the pendants at the end, although I understand why you didn’t. Please do more Makume gane tutorials and include the making of the pendants. Thanks for doing these videos!

When I said ‘neon crumbling “ it was an observation. I watched again and now realize it was Cernit ‘cuz you said so. The stuff I don’t know about polymer is extensive. BTW the slices you made are outstanding.

Hello 😊 I'm new to working with polymer clay and one of my concerns is how to properly store my clay.... I love the way you have your clay blends stored in a notebook. My question is what type of plastic inserts are you using? I have learned that clay can react badly to certain plastics....so, I just wanted to make sure I purchase the right type to use for clay.....thank you😊 your opinion is valued and appreciated 😊
@katiegordon6104 жыл бұрын
I have a video about a year ago about storing the polymer clay and what plastics are compatible also the brand I have is on my Amazon store in the link in the description u can find them their mine in the last year seem ok w premo cernit and Kato those are ones I have in the sheet protectors

I LOVE watching your videos! You inspire me to create and try new things. I am a newbie and have learned so much from you. I've made a bunch of basic canes from your cane basics and tried a basic flower cane. I emphasize tried, looks like it was inspired by Picasso. Thanks for the info about your white, mine is constantly picking up bits and pieces in mine too, I thought I was doing something wrong; my black gets all over everything also. After seeing your pasta machine in your basement a couple weeks back it inspired me to do something with mine, so I spent the weekend cleaning out a corner of my basement and set up my faux studio, Your so down to earth, and laid back, I feel like I’m crafting right beside you but without being able to ask you the ton if questions the whole time. Thanks Katie, keep crafting PS if you hosted a weekend clay craft along, I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only one who would be eager to go~ hint hint! Do you have a patronage page, or membership?

Hi Katie- I didn't know how else to reach you, as I do not have a facebook. I had questions about using my dremel and the polishing buff pads that it comes with. When I have used it, the pieces are not coming out as shiny as you show on your tutorials. Is there a huge difference between what comes with the Dremel 4000 kit vs the polishing things u use off of amazon? Also any suggestions for the UV resin and UV lamps?
@katiegordon6104 жыл бұрын
I still recommend the tiny pandora light for uv resin. If your not getting good results w the buffing wheels you have then I would try to order the ones from my Amazon and see I believe they r under 20 bucks for a bunch of them so not a super large cost others have said they work well for them as well.

Each pasta machine usually can have a electric motor added on to it I have an atlas 150 wellness so the motor i have is a mercado but not all motors fit all machines so check your machine and what motor would fit it

Red yellow and blue aren't the true primary colours
@katiegordon6104 жыл бұрын
What r the primary colors. I guess when I think primary colors I think the 5 pack of crayons u used to get. Also I have a mini printer at home for photos and it has red yellow blue and it makes all the colors u watch it lay down each color to created everything
@christieyoung50214 жыл бұрын
@@katiegordon610 primary colors for printing at least are cyan, magenta, yellow, and black - CMYK. though you are correct. most artist have used red, yellow and blue as primary. If you look at a colorwheel triangle that considers cyan, magenta, yellow, the primary, they still have red yellow and blue at the points.I tried to post a picture of that but it didn't let me.
@KalyanaDesignTutorials4 жыл бұрын
Red yellow and blue ARE the primary colors. We're not talking CMYK here.
