In this polymer clay tutorial I'll show how to create two canes a mokume gane and a mica shift which we'll use to create these polymer clay heart pendants. I include tips on how to smooth seams, sand and polish. I also demonstrate how to dome the heart pendant.
It's a very easy tutorial to complete and cane be changed to create endless designs. Change up the colors in one or more of the elements to brighten and change the mood of the piece.

Because of the amount of clay I used On this project I was able to cut out 3 hearts. I had so much fun creating the different Textiles Or whatever you call them LOL, And Im waiting for Sanding cloths to come so I can finish them up. I can't wait to send you pictures Samantha . the on!y thing I didn't have was a pebble stamp so I uses the best one I had to go deep into the clay. It didn't work that great but still came out quite pritty. Thanks again Samantha. I will email the results to u and post it on your FB. Bye for now💖

Just a suggestion but I’ve worked some with clay and also with baking fondant. I use a piece of plastic wrap to cover my fondant and then apply the cutter. When I do this is makes the edges not a 90 degree cut but a rounded perfect cut. These don’t have to be rounded or smoothed out. I hope I made this understandable and it might help with an idea. Wonderful tutorial. I love your accent💜🤍💚

Did I miss something? Why did you put the backing on after baking rather than before cutting out the piece? Too thick? Thanks!
@JessamaTutorials
@JessamaTutorials 4 жыл бұрын
Firstly because it makes the back neater and also because when I dome the piece it bakes with a shiny back that I want to cover up with the backing.
