Hi Summa! I didn't realize that I forgot to show how I put the holes. Anyways, I use the pointer tool from Sculpey® 5 - in - 1 Tool (amzn.to/2yMYywp) But I prefer using a drill after baking just like what I did in this video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4LSon2BrrqLaZY

Did you buy from Amazon, I hear people get old clay sometimes from Amazon. Also, is it important to go for one particular type of clay for earrings? i read that Sculpey III is not good for earrings , but looks like it worked great for you

Hey Lalita! I bought my clays at Michaels Craft store, except for the white (from Amazon). Some of my clays were bought 8 years ago and they’re still good. If it’s crumbly I will put a Sculpey clay softener. It helps the pieces bind together. I will not suggest Sculpey III if you are planning to sell your crafts. It breaks easily. 😟. I made earrings just for fun, and I want to get rid of my Sculpey III stocks. Go for Sculpey Souffle; it’s the best👍🏼! As of mixing, again, if you are selling your polymer crafts, then I won’t suggest mixing different brands. It may lose the integrity of the material. But some crafters mix different brands. As long as it’s only a tiny piece, then I think it won’t affect much. If you have more questions just let me know.

Hi Bondita! It's no. 1 thickness setting on Scupley clay pasta machine. I think it's about 1/8" thick.
