I did not understand a word you said, but... THANK YOU for such an articulated visual explanation in relation to creating the cane that you did. I have actually scoured many a utube feeds and yours has by far been the best for me. Easy to understand with the visual that you provided - so thank you again. The only thing I may suggest is that you drop down the camera by 2 cm's so that when you are doing your work I don't see the bottom of your hands, hope that makes sense....I will use your tutorial to excel my learning as I have always been so daunted with creating PC canes based on other sites I have seen LOL! Thank you, thank you thankyou...

Hi .. Was wondering ..what if you don't have a acrylic block to press down the clays with? What else can you use that might have around the house that would work the same as the acrylic block? Also ..where would you find a acrylic block like that at? Thank you :)

Fantastic tutorial! One question, though, are the buttons safe to use on washable clothing? In other words, are the buttons washable? What would you do to finish them to make them washable? Just glaze them or something else?

when i put glass in the oven it explodes and breaks, is there a certain kind of glass you use?

I think any glass. You're putting it in a really low temperature so it shouldn't harm it. Just don't dip the glass in water right away and you will be fine..

tinki moon Put your piece into a cold oven, let it heat up and bake your piece, then let it cool down in the oven.

i've seen that some folk place their cane strips into the freezer before putting together into a larger cane... hope that makes sense!

the temperature is not that hot. So it should be okay. I've done this before and my glass-bottle didn't get any cracks at all.
