Sunshiney, I don't live in your state, but I do know that Joann's sells polymer clay. I haven't looked for it before @ Michaels, but seeing as they're a craft store, I have a feeling they carry it too. If you do an online search for 'best online craft supply stores' you'll find lists of sites that also sell it! :0)

Ok, all you have to do is cut the green in parts (all at once) then you cut strips of the darker green and put them in middle first, then just trim end you don't need to take it and lay on table and trim and all that, waste of time. My first can was an orange, it came out perfect with this technique, just put the strip in middle trim if you need to and then take out another section do same little by little, if like orange you cut middle, put together, then cut whole across again and do same etc until 8 sections.
