Thank you so much. That's the clearest tutorial I've seen ... I can see where I went wrong with my leaf cane now!

You are a brilliant teacher Deb, I haven't used this clay as yet, but you certainly make a person feel competent to try!

Thank you for teaching this wonderful technique, I'm at a point in working with polymer clay that I feel comfortable to try and do more intricate techniques, I'm glad I found this video today. Right place, right time. Thanks so much!

Hello, I have a question, did you fire the silver metal bezels first and then put the raw polymer clay cane in the bezel and then baked that?? I would assume that the silver metal would have to fire at a very high temperature and putting the Polymer Clay in at the same time that wouldn’t work.

Correct, silver metal clay requires a kiln or torch. It needs to be fired separately. Hope this helps!

@@cooltoolsvideos Thank you so much for your reply. I thought the bracelet shown in the tutorial was just lovely. The combination of polymer and silver lime that is lovely! I have always been interested in silver metal clay…

I’m new(ish) to your channel so maybe you’ve mentioned this but did you buy your pasta roller like that or did you add that metal piece to it? I’m trying to figure out how to best describe it but the one that is sticking up from the pasta machine. Hopefully that makes sense lol by the way, thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I’ve been playing with polymer clay for a couple of years now but only tried making a cane once and wasn’t very successful, and haven’t tried it cents. But watching this video I think I might be able to give it a try again. You’ve done an excellent job of breaking it down.

@@cooltoolsvideos wow that was a quick response! Thank you so much! Do you happen to know if that would work in a Sculpy pasta machine? If you don’t, that’s fine I just didn’t know if you happen to know if it was a universal type thing
