@BinaryCode Yea, I feel you. It makes me feel like a good (but not very big) game is being loaded and I feel the excitement. The music kind of reminds me of "Cats are Liquid: A Light in the Shadows" and "Just Shapes & Beats"
Polyrhythm: a full cycle of different rhythms takes the same time, the sides adapt to this time Polymeter: the time of each side is the same, the full cycle adapts to the sides Google translated but hope it's readable

polymeters are literally just two or more meters playing in one rhythm, while polyrhythms are two or more rhythms playing in one meter. it's literally in the english names!

What if wednesday? Do they just have moments where they like to swap? I know I do. I do it all the time. Everything in my house is swapped. Will you seap them for me? Or must I change the reality to do so?

one is two or more meters playing in one rhythm, while the other is two or more rhythms playing in one meter
@TaranVaranYT8 ай бұрын
but do not be fooled, they are not opposites. If you listen closely, you can hear a polyrhythm, and it makes it even easier to see when each shape bumps in size then returns to normal

Take a polymeter, only play all the 1s of both sides, and you get a polyrhythm

I'm really curios about the process you followed to make this video. There's a million different way to animate simple shapes with music sync. What path you have chosen?
@Centomila Жыл бұрын
Hi MUSEONG! It looks like a lot of people (around 20 of us) are curious about how you made this animation. I totally understand if you don't want to share your secret recipe, but I have a fun suggestion: could you give us some hints and let us guess the ingredients? Here are my three hypotheses: 1. Maybe it's a simple After Effects animation and we're overthinking it. 2. Perhaps you created some basic shapes on an HTML5 canvas and recorded them with the MediaRecorder API. 3. Maybe you made a VST or CLAP metronome and synced it perfectly in a DAW. Regardless of how you made it, I just want to say that I think it's a really cool animation and it's great that you're sharing it with us. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
@MUSEONG.11 ай бұрын
@@Centomila First, I made some shapes through Photoshop or PPT, and some audios through FL studio. And, I mixed them with Premiere Pro. That's all, So it doesn't require some great skills. Thanks for your interset in my video, And Sorry for the late reply.

I appreciate how you gave the different shapes/meters different positions in space with headphones that correlate with their position onscreen. You can _hear_ where the triangle is, and the square, etc etc.

That's ok, they are different things. We have different *metrics* now, no rhythm at all (no polyrhythms), all the beats have the same accent. Every line follows its own metric, so we have 3, 4 and 5: they are different *meters* with the same general tempo
