It's so strange that The Most Hated was actually their most controversial album. They used to be a heavy prog-metal band with their first EP Inspire and their album Muse. They attraced a lot of hardcore metal fans. Since then they've been expanding their horizon and adding hip hop and trap beats into their songs. Their OG fans started shitting on their two newest releases for this. Calling them sell-outs and arrogant assholes who betray their fans. Personally The Most Hated is probably my favorite collection by them. I love all of their releases in different ways. New Levels New Devils has that weird ass sound that makes you go wild when you listen closely. Muse and Renaissance are easier to listen to. You can put them on in the background and it's amazing. But most of the songs on those two albums don't make you combust with energy like the newest two releases do. They're more rock-style riff-based and less complex, but melody and harmony are still their priority

The Most Hated & New Level New Devils featured production by producers Judge & Y2K. I imagine they just took whatever beat Tim had & created the beauty we hear on the releases. Late to the party but I didn't see any comments pertaining to the production. Keep up the Polyphia love!
