I discovered these guys about two weeks ago and was immediately hooked. I thought, "I wonder if they have any merch. I want a t-shirt or something." Then I discovered they were touring near me and got so super excited I was bouncing up and down in my seat. Then, to my dismay, I found that the venue had sold out just days before I tried to get tickets. I'm completely heartbroken. Maybe next time I guess. Also, I think my favorite song from them so far is a close tie between Nasty and Look but Don't Touch.

Once you go back to this alone when you aren't feeling obligated to create content. Let the peace and tranquility of the song ... without the video even to distract from the magic ... I actually internalized a new philosophy about Polyphia and the whole Playing God Metaphor ... Think of it this way ... Most artists write a song specifically with someone in mind using words to communicate their story. I feel like Polyphia are writing music that transcends barriers. Language, race, and culture are irrelevant to the humanity of the emotional response. This music allows each individual who hears it the freedom to evoke a story that is uniquely personal and yet undeniably universal. THAT IS POWERFUL. Potentially 'godlike'. This is the kind of thing we need to raise the consciousness of all humanity. Just thinking on paper here ... 💖💖💖

I absolutely agree!! When initially reacting to this last month I was so excited to do exactly that, just listen to the song with no distractions and let the music tell its story. It's amazing how universal Polyphia is and how they're able to bring so many people together with just music alone, it's phenomenal. That's what really gravitated me to this band. Love your philosophy dude, so glad you shared! 💚🤘🏻💚🤘🏻

Great band, great song. Good reaction video! Lately I've been listening to 40oz, Light, and So Strange a lot. Driving up to Baltimore next month to see them!

you seem to really enjoy music. honestly, your ears deserve much better than those gift bag earbuds. I'm not intending to be rude. great reaction!

Thank you for enjoying the reaction it means so much! No worries, I'm not offended or anything. I really love music, it's my everything. I'm also suuuper picky with earbuds and headphones. These are the JLab Go Air POP earbuds. The sound quality is surprisingly super detailed, plus they're noise canceling. So my ears are safe they just only had green in stock at Target so they don't look professional lmao

That's an new unreleased Ibanez guitar which is based on their SC500N from the 90s. The closest thing that's available now is the Godin Multiac.

No 808's. Actual real drums.
@RockOn_ABL2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely there's real drums. I was attempting to listen more under the surface to see if there was an electronic bactrack as well at that time

@@RockOn_ABL Yes I realized you were asking that. I'm saying there's no backing track. But I see why people would think there's backing track.
@prasadsatpute12942 жыл бұрын
@@RockOn_ABL there is surely 808s in there, though Clay plays it for real with his drums..but we can't deny that there is some post production on those drums

Your audio is too weak. Not watching any more.

That's totally fine, no hard feelings. Really appreciate the critique though. I've been checking my content on different devices and realized the audio is inconsistent, definitely will be improved next time.
