+24kGoldenRocket The Big Short is an important film, but was strangely missing any real references to 1990s deregulations that allowed mortgaged-backed securities to balloon as they did (which they did not immediately when they were first created) and then spread through the newly-interconnected & cross-pollinated system in a way that could bring down the global economy.

Gospel is doing too much good for them. No, I am not defending "pure soul church" here at all - they aren't a gospel, because there is too much singing on the same notes. It isn't actually really that much of a choir either. The only luring lie is that they are wearing what a gospel choir would wear. So... Sorry to break it to you - but you weren't listening with your ears. You were watching with your ears - appearantly. :D You and all the likers - me among them. ;D It's still sooo cool - even if it fails to be gospel musically, it still gives out the message of the song really well - having symbols which cause Great conflict to all us humans. :)

I wonder if they still do the yearly Christmas show. It's one of the best shows I've ever been too. They even get clowns, fake snow, reindeer, and have a petting zoo in the parking lot. It's quite extravagant and fun.

All I can say is that Kurt and his insufferable love of irony is getting everything he deserved with this homage.

This is not only the best Nirvana cover that I've ever heard, it's probably the best cover I've ever heard, period. That includes the covers of classic rock songs that Type O Negative has done. This is just amazing. I need to catch these guys the next time they're in Dallas.
