Just got my T-Brick Ultra last week and tested it out Saturday night. When fired up this thing throws some heat. I was using it in a 16.5 foot radius canvas tent with a 9 foot peak, so a pretty huge tent. It was in the teens outside and I got it to 73 degrees. Very happy with the results.

Great review of this stove...I use a stainless G-Stove for my TenTipi 17' diameter and i love it...i also have a small hot tent and i think this T Brick Ultra is the stove i need for it ass it is way lighter and more portable for the light weight camp trips...Thank you :)

this new stove will definitely take over the stainless steel stoves, its bigger and gives out more heat via the glass panel, plus its portable and less weight, Dam this means time to get another stove - i like this a lot !!! i have a funny feeling i will be getting this soon !!!

I'm really curious as to the burn times with what wood on these stoves. Lonewolf bud, that's always my curiosity surrounding the different wood burners. Nobody gets into burn time with what kinds of wood, to give a rough idea. The double-stacked T-Brick compared with the single-stacked.... The air intake off the side wall always makes me think the air intake isn't as controllable. Which of course makes me wonder if having the TWO inserts in with the top stove attached compared to just running the two glass panels on either side and leaving the front intake. I'm sure you've experimented with it a bit and I'm curious as to what you've found bud! I of course love what they've done with correcting the warping issues that have held me off from buying these stoves, but now that they've done this (of course adding weight, unfortunately, BUT.....), I want durability and longevity if I'm spending that kind of cash of course. Pomoly stoves seem to be ahead of the game of MOST manufacturers, so I'm going to buy one eventually, it's just the burn times are my concern before buying them. Getting almost a full night burn by stacking is of course most campers want! Stack some Iron Wood or Maple or Oak and get it so it's still got coals in the morning to stack up again for our cold Canadian Winter Nights! That's the trick, to keep it warm enough to keep things comfy. I'm still drawn between this and the double-stack T-Brick for versatile options. This is why I'm so curious about the burn times with the side air inlets and testing on them for comparative burn times. You have so many stoves so you know which you'd take for what! I'd love to hear about your vast experience with them and knowledge! To me a wood burner I can cook on is a wood burner I can cook on...where the balls hit the bones is how long the hardwood lasts with it dampened down and the airflow limited to get a livable temperature in a decent-sized livable tent I can sit in and live in, in our extreme conditions....that's the trick to all of these stoves TRULY! That's where we NEED YOUR KNOWLEDGE on them.......I have stayed in wood stove cabins at my favorite camp for years, and of course I can tell people which stove is the best and which way to run it with the damper and the air inlet where, when I'm staying in it to get a full evening of efficiency out of the stove...the best one I have to stack once with iron wood then I get up at roughly 5AM to restack with going to bed at 11pm, and it's good until around 11 if I limit air flow...so those are of course my concerns. am I getting up every 4 hours to put wood in them, is the question....lol

Now that there's so many different options for stoves, could you do a video where you break down the many different stove types and features and discuss which stoves favor certain scenarios? Ex. The stove you recommend for small hot tents, big hot tents, backpacking, car camping, glamping, etc.

Have you compared this Ultra to the T1 Ultra? They seem very similar, however, I have a concern that the T-Brick Ultra may burn much faster because of the additional side baffles. Which do you prefer?
@Lliamhd2 жыл бұрын
So for hot tent would you want a glass door (or two) or not, to keep it warm in the tent for longer? Would the glass make the stove dump heat too fast, or would it just be a case of might-as-well since the heat just goes out the chimney anyway? I have a similar one from Sweden or Norway, it takes a bit longer for the tent to warm up.
