Excellent info, thanks. Suggestion: a video about what size stove can be effective in what size tent, practical limits considering ambient temp ranges, etc. Might be fun. Some of your fans may be saving up for their one and only hot tent and stove kit and your reviews are very informative.

We live in SW Colorado (Durango). I was a climbing / Mountaineering guide for about 12 years...which is what brought me here. I've dirt bagged it in some insane locations from the Waddington Range to the Indian Himalaya. In all my years I'd never heard of "hot tent" camping. Your videos have absolutely been a game changer. We were able to find a used Sierra Designs Guide tarp with a stove jack installed as well as a small ti stove from a little company in Grand Junction Colorado. Man!!!! What a change!!! We spent the first weekend up at Molas Pass between Durango and Silverton. 10,000' and daytime temps down to 7 degrees F. We can hardly wait for the weekends now. Thanks for all your great videos. We are already planning on upgrading to this exact stove.

Hey LW. My T1 Mini arrived today. Just unboxed and assembled it without attaching the chimney. Assembly took about a minute. This stove is absolutely awesome and bulletproof compared to my other titanium stove. Can't wait to fire it up tomorrow. Well worth the $$.

@@Lonewolfwildcamping the youngsters have been watching you and taking them out in the forests they are learning how to safely camp. I insist on three windows for safety number 1 and a homey atmosphere warm and secure. I let them set up my stoves to teach them safe way to implement camp set up . They have never camped before they are learning that they need to park nonsense at the curb and they will have to prove themselves by learning that this is a great pastime but save the games for our hikes. They are learning by your example as I have learned they did ok on halloween now they will learn how to camp in the dead of winter. You have been an inspiration to me and my camping friends. I am so happy I found you on the net thank you for all you have taught me and will teach me. I cant take the kids into the woods in cold and other adverse conditions but my confidence has grown.

Wished I knew how to roll that chimney before I "mishandled" mine, full of creases (rolled solo in the field). It´s now burned in but asked a friend of mine to help me roll it around a windsurfing-mast and let it be for awhile. Hoping that it will save the chimney for a second burn, and still looking good? 😏 I really love my Timberwolf-stove though. Thumbs up for showing their stoves and tents!

@@Lonewolfwildcamping they used to think that camping is all fun and games. They found out from me that this is a great way to unwind but each step of the way I use caution especially when I camp in bear country I am secure with it but it will be a very long time before these kids reach that level. And I wont permit it I will be using your methods when I go back to bear country this is a whole different way of camping the kids their day will come but not now. They need to learn to be comfortable with basic camping my son is a park ranger when I think the time is right I will send the kids to him and they will learn what to do when you are walking and realize they are being watched. I learned they will too but I only go when the cubs are bigger and moms not so protective. For now I want kids to see this a a privilege to set out in gods country and camp and when leaving leave the site clean and as if we werent there.

Do you think this mini will do the job in a Nortent gamme 4? We live in Norway and often use a folding stove in - 20C in our old lavvo. But we are so tired of all the screws in combination with frozen hands. It takes almost 45 min before we can start the fire. This model looks like a piece of cake to install. I like the 1mm thickness and the size and weight (and the windows). Our gamme 4 is also brand new. Never heard of Pomoly stoves before your videos. Thank you!

On the Pomoly website, it refers to a T1 mini 3 for Solo Hot Tenting. Clearly it is smaller than the T1, but I wonder how much less BTU? Or a more direct question, could the T1 mini 3 be sufficient for the hammock tent you once used? Or any tent for say 4-5 people?

I'm Still in the market for a rucksack friendly stove...In your opinion is there a dramatic decrease in radiant heat efficiency with the multi glass models compared to the single window? 🤔 I know they look beautiful burning away but they're also a little heavier, just wondering if they radiate less heat.

I'm not sure why people think glass reduces the stove output, but I promise you that if you put this stove in a 2 person tipi in 15⁰c you will be hot

@@Lonewolfwildcamping so no real discernable differences 👏🏼👍🏼 that's good because I could sit and watch those multi window ones burn all night. I better start saving. 👍🏼🙏🏼🏕️

Three questions: Is it possible to get the full sized T1 with 2 glass sides (as with this T1 mini), instead of the single glass side? Would the Winnerwell water tank fit on the top of this, seeing as Pomoly doesn't offer their own version of this item? The spark arrestor, while beautifully designed, seems like it has large holes which would allow quite a few sparks to escape from. Would there be any benefit to rolling up some metal screening, and putting it inside the arrestor?

Yes the t1 large is available with window options, I dont use or own winnerwell products and putting a mesh screen in the arrestor is dangerous and will clog up. The purpose of the arrestor is to secure pipe in high winds, prevent rain from entering syove when not burning, not to catch every spark, stove experience and operating it properly will reduce sparks

I want to buy one of your older wood stoves. Would you have any extra for sale? Before I buy one from pomoly I'd rather invest in you and the channel

If you stuffed this full of wood before bed how long do you think it would last?

Depends on wood type and damper settings. Personally I let my stove go out when sleeping

Hi there - do you think the T1 Mini 3 could handle heating up a Pomoly Hussar Plus or is to too small for that size tent? I already ordered the T1 Mini 3 and am about to order my tent and wanted to go with the Hussar Plus but I’m afraid that might be too much tent for this stove. Great channel btw.

The mini will heat the tent but you would need to decide how often do you want to load wood and how hot do you need it inside

@@Lonewolfwildcamping Thanks that’s really helpful. My objective is to be able to have my dog join me safely on backpacking trips year-round in upstate NY where we get lows around 20F in the winter. She sleeps on an insulated Static V double with me (4.4 r-value) and has her own diy 32 degree quilt made from an old sleeping bag. 2 more questions if you don’t mind - do you recommend the 3 Mini / Hussar Plus for this scenario, and also what would the be the difference in load frequency be between the mini and the regular T1? And also load frequency doesn’t necessarily mean more wood processing right, other than processing it smaller? Thanks so much for all the work you do to make our outdoor adventures more informed.

Its alot to think about, truth is a small stove can heat a large tent and vise versa, I reccomend a pad of r value 5 and sleeping bag of -15⁰c
