The part where she says 'not here' i think is the saddest part of all. Obviously she's gotta be kinda cryptic about it, but it's very hard to not trace the lines to opportunities being unavailable while being in Nijisanji, which is a crazy thing to think about. A company of that size being literally unable to secure new opportunities for itself and its staff because its focus is clearly elsewhere.
@espinacasable11 ай бұрын
I don't think they're unable, I think they're very purposefully sabotaging their talents as retribution for whatever. She said she'd been offered the opportunity and *then* got told no. I wish it was just them being unable to secure opportunities. That'd be a bad flaw but an honest one. Everything that we got to know about the company this past year indicates that the opportunities are very much present and available, but for some godforsaken, inexplicable reason Nijisanji is actively cutting their talents off from them and sabotaging personal projects. It's like, they want their brand entirely self-contained with neither the talents or other companies building on it. NijiEN had so much potential. So so much. With how well things were going for some time, and how much more tailored they were to a western audience, I could even had seen them outgrowing HoloEN. But their long list of awful mistakes and their inability to learn from them damaged the branch to a point of beyond saving. Reputation-wise 100%.

I knew frustrations were mounting but this exact moment was the first time I feared that she might actually be leaving. I coped by telling myself she loves Nijisanji, her friends, and her community too much to actually do it, but it seems I sorely underestimated her ambitions for something more and the frustrations of feeling stagnant and held down, likewise for Mika. Even though I’m positive both of them will appear again in some other form, I can’t help but mourn the effective death of Pomu Rainpuff and Mika Melatika as I knew them; They rocked those avatars as extensions of themselves so well. Man, moments like this make me so sad because although I didn't watch her, that's someone's oshi. I hope she's able to make those opportunities for herself, it's much harder getting taken seriously without some form of corporate structure behind you as an indie; and I hope her fans are able to heal from this soon. She was a good egg who seemed really respective and appreciative of vtubing culture as a whole. I always hoped for a collab with one of my oshi's, Ami.

Kurosanji is never beating the black company allegations. Three years of hard work and dedication for this company, and this is the way they treat her. Here's to hoping she finds a different company that will actually work with her and allow her to flourish and grow, rather than try to shut her down at every step of the way.

So many things happened and they were tragic. Mel got terminated, my favorite burger joint is closing down, one teacher I knew at work died of cancer and now Pomu graduated. Is this something normies will tell me to get over it and touch grass or is this just life. Life being unfair and unpredictable. I’ll continue to put on a brave face because it’s all I can do. Just try to spend the most time with your oshis,friends, co-workers and families. You just never know when it’s time to go.

@puddingcatsteamboat639311 ай бұрын
i just hope Pomu has fun and gets lots of great opportunities doing whatever comes next for her. not sure why Nijisanji has such a high turnover rate for talent but they should probably start reevaluating how they manage people, not just EN either it seems like all the branches have issues. pure speculation but maybe they don’t have enough managers per talents?
@ausgod53811 ай бұрын
They don't have high turnover rate, 85% of their talents in JP are in there. Id and kr died as a branch so they had mass gradations while in EN while its mismanaged they only lost 3 leaving by their own choice.
@Inufan33711 ай бұрын
@@ausgod538 Across their entire company they had a graduation or termination EVERY month last year. Yes, with the shotgun method they take to debuting talent, the numbers percentage-wise won't catch up to them for a good while but pretending there aren't massive issues within the management side of things is blind faith at best. Anycolor has a history of poor and/or bizarre decisions on the upper-management levels across all of their branches. From older issues like the Mururu situation and newer ones like Gundou on the JP side, to cutting the legs out from under ID and KR, a fate which now could very well be looming for EN as well. It's becoming more and more apparent that the business strategy of throwing a ton of talent at the screen and seeing which ones stick has rapidly blown past what they have the management infrastructure to effectively support, but despite this Anycolor seems to have no inclination to pivot from the strategy. Throw on top of that their impeccable ability to completely ignore optics and consistently burn down the good will of their communities and it's a perfect storm for negativity to fester. Time will tell just how much this comes to bite them, but if only for the talents' sakes I very much hope the powers that be in Niji can right the ship.

I would love it if she showed up in Vshojo, they’re a much better company than Niji who actually lets their talents do what they want to do. She could collab with Kiara still that way since we’ve had multiple hololive-vshojo collabs.

lacking the ability to manage seems more like it. anycolor is just being a bitch about everything since 2020. Concerts, attires, colabs, songs, promotional engagements. These people bring in money for Anycolor and I just feel like Anycolor is just trying to make it seem like they want their people to never do anything beneficial to them, look at some of their merch drops, they are the dumbest Mfers of management I have ever seen.

Nijisanji management sounds to me like the exact opposite a "talent" manager is supposed to do. It seems they're mostly there to tell the talents what they can and can't do instead of opening doors for them to grow. Their business model is more akin to a VTuber sweatshop than a creative agency.

now that she's indie did she ever say what it was that they turned down?
@RoninMusic172 ай бұрын
No. When Nijisanji livers graduate normally, they are forced to sign silencing contract that prevents them from saying anything that might defame Nijisanji and damage their worthless brand. There's NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and so many things that might cause Nijisanji to file an lawsuit against ex-livers for speaking about their toxic work environment and how their management and people running the agency treated all livers. The best way to describe their experiences is being vague as possible, hinting that they are talking about Nijisanji, but not mentioning them directly. Like, Matara-kan mentioned how when she was Nijisanji EN liver, she was unable to build her own community because of Nijisanji's toxic fans.
