Mesh Machine latest update has selected symmetry which soo cool!! You can symmetries just selected mesh.

hey ponte ! so idk if im doing something wrong but when i solidify and press 2 ( 3:10 ) so it can go both sides it doesnt work ? maybe i have a function off or something i cant really seem to get it to solidify to both sides it does nothing when i press 2 it just goes towards one side

Update hardops and blender. That function is a default behaviour out of the box, so should work. Also try it on a default plane. Perhaps your geo has some issues.

You can, simply press middle mouse button

@@ahmadzhalabi on ctrl b you mean, i thought you meant hardops bevel. ya on ctrl b you cannot, but thats vanilla blender limitation. You could bevel an edge via ctrl mark with hardops and then you can rrotate the view.

Well Ultimate Guide is massive, we cover tools and menus and then you got not one but TWO practical modelling courses. I am not sure if the origin tip is i the course, becasue i cant remember when it was added, it is quite recent.

I just dont understand how it added to the shape at 18:55 when you used box cutter ngon, Mine just made a clean cut into the mesh.

if you wanna shift cut to join bool, press j during cutting

When you live bevel the edge (at 4.00) it works fine in Blender 3.0, but in 3.1 Beta it applies the bevel to all the edges until you tab out of Edit Mode and then it applies it correctly - makes visualizing the result impossible. This isn't the only problem with 3.1 Beta I'm finding though, it seems they've screwed up how things are applied in Edit Mode so you don't see changes correctly until you go back to Object Mode.

Bro you really need to work on your mindset, because the current one is cockblocking your progress. But to tackle your assumption - no, we use Hopscutter and Machine Tools. DM is optional, and Mesh Machine I use mostly for symmetry in courses, so everyone can follow with hardops.
