No it is not secular but the majority are Lutherans, there is only a very small amount of catholics

This mass orientation is similiar with before vatican II. Its also reminds us this swedish church has been abandoning catholicism since refornation.. Glad the revival of catholicsm happening in Sweden ❤❤❤

No. The deacon is IBP, subdeacon and Assistant priest are diocesan. The only icrss canon in Sweden sat in choir (as is seen on the video).

@@m-hayek1985 The IBP is not established here. We had a visiting deacon from the IBP who we knew from earlier (I think some guys met him in the pilgrimage to Chartres a few years ago). He is half Swedish. We invited him to assist us and to be present at our pilgrimage event which this Mass was a part of.

It's called ad orientem, it's towards God not towards the people . It is the position of the traditional latin mass according to the missal of St Pius V

The mass has 4 purposes: 1) to adore God, 2) to thank God for his graces 3) to ask forgiveness for our sins and 4) to ask God for more graces in the future. So its not about instruction. We dont read the Gospel at mass for instruction. We learn the Gospel through other means, i.e, by the priests preaching, prayers, images etc.

@@redpoppy3569 I think that Dutch women in general are dressed less feminine. And ordinary women combine long skirts with bare shoulders. Modest fashion is for religious women, but it's not as noticeable as it was twenty, thirty years ago. And these clothes just got cuter.
