At the Provost Church of St. Ludgerus (Ludgerus-Dom), located in Billerbeck, Germany in the diocese of Münster, Solemn Pontifical High Mass at the Throne (Pontifikalamt am Thron) was offered by His Excellency, Archbishop Guido Pozzo, Secretary to the Pontifical Commission Eccelsia Dei with Canon Richard von Menshengen as deacon and Deacon (now Canon) Scott Smith as subdeacon, both of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest (ICRSP, ICRSS, ICKSP) and Fr. William Barker, FSSP.
The occasion was the annual general meeting of Pro Missa Tridentina, PMT Hauptversammlung.

When we grew up with it, we picked up a lot of Latin from the Mass and the many devotions common at the time. But changing to local languages was not bad in itself. That was the instruction of the Good Pope, John XXIII. The grave error came later in the Council, when Pope Paul VI allowed academics to destroy the very structure of the Mass that represented the spiritual heritage of two thousand years.

It was abandoned or abrogated because the theology and form of the Holy Mass was not acceptable to the Anglican Communion and Lutheran Churches and therefor an obstacle to the much desired unity of churches and ecumenism ( the concept and principle in which Christians who belong to different Christian denominations work together to develop closer relationships among their churches and promote Christian unity.) A form and wording had to be found that would be acceptable to those of other confessions i.e. mainly the Anglican Churches, and so the offertory prayers which made it abundantly clear that what was being done on our altars was a propitiatory sacrifice for the living and the dead had to go. That goes for the Placeat tibi Sancta Trinitas which was said before the dismissal. ‘Smacked too much of propitiation for the sins of the living and the dead which they did not like. Look up on the internet “Ottaviani Intervention (1969).” Cardinal Alfredo Cardinal Ottaviani of the Holy Office along with Cardinal Antonio Cardinal Bacci together with a group of Roman theologians did a crucial study of the new proposed order of the Mass and warned “the Novus Ordo, represents both as a whole, and in its details, a striking departure from the Catholic theology of the Mass as it was formulated in Session 22 of the Council of Trent". Among other points, the Study maintains that the faithful "never, absolutely never, asked that the liturgy be changed or mutilated to make it easier to understand."

WW11 and Communism were an allright attack on the Roman Rite Church Millions of Roman Catholics were murdered and about 800 000 Roman Catholic Jews. The Secret Societies Masonic Jews and Gentiles got hold of Germany invaded Poland and Marxist Jews set up Communism in Russia. Remember 70AD and Communism lasted 70 years but they intend blowing the Vatican into rubble. The Novus Ordo is a Counterfeit and the Abomination of Desolation It is not His Church. The Jewish Passover prayers that were said in the Temple in Jerusalem that Jesus attended with His Apostles on the night He was betrayed are in the Tridentine Mass.

The Tridentine Mass, is the true Mass

Look at the wording of the 1570 bull Quo primum tempore of Pope Pius V. You can read it online. The language is unambiguous in canonizing the Tridentine Rite of Holy Mass as the rite to be university followed by the Latin Church worldwide, with a couple of exception for ancient rites like the Ambrosian, Mozarabic and Carthusian etc. One Bishop sent me a very offensive letter telling me that the congregations at Tridentine Masses were like on-looking dumb animals - he used the Latin word them stulti, not knowing what was going on at the altar. I replied to him that was an insult to my ancestors and the deceased faithful and if there was any confusion in the minds of the post Vatican II faithful about what the priest was doing at the altar, this could be blamed on the lack of Catholic education and catechesis. Jews and Muslims know well the advantages of having a universal language for their respective liturgies and educate and encourage their children from and early age. By the time they leave school both Jews and Muslims can recite from memory long passages from their sculptures and liturgies. In one Church in Malaysia I noted a list of Mass times outside a church. These were Mass in English, Malay, a South Indian language (Tamil), Mandarin Chinese and Philippines Tagalog. No Latin of course. Each community went to "their Mass" and if they missed that they would not go to another. A priest in one of the Arab Gulf States where I worked told me that he had to host a French priest who came out twice a year to celebrate Mass in French for the small French community working there. He said that there was a good turn out, and looking at me over the top of his spectacles said "but they don't come to Mass any other time."

We are lucky to still have some Bishops who are willing to celebrate a pontifical High Mass at the throne. As a former sacristan of an abbey I know how difficult it is prepare for and offer this kind of Holy Mass. It takes a lot of work, planning and patience. The MC or master of ceremonies, has to know every bodies role and position in the sanctuary during the liturgy and direct them around as necessary. It is quite and undertaking.

Awesome and so very Biblical. Mark 16:17 says that those who believe shall speak in other tongues. This can be miraculous, or also from a book. St Paul mentions books and parchments in Ii Timothy 4:13. If both Vatican II Catholics and Protestants could see this miracle of truth and beauty!

She wrote about a great act of mercy called "The Warning" which is also called "The Sign of the Son of Man" in the gospel. It will be a preparation for the second coming. God bless.

I abandonned Catholic faith about 45 years ago. I am a freethinker, but I must recognize that Tridentine Mass is much more solemn, more beautiful and more "sacred". Generally speaking, new priest are from humble origins - which is not a crime, indeed - but they have no enough education nor the ability to understand the value of tradition. Roman Catholic church lost a lot when it eliminated Latin from its rituals.

If I am seeing it right it is the deacon and sub deacon. They assist the celebrant at the altar. There are other priests in copes that assist in various capacities in the sanctuary.
