Peter McManus Aye! Flanker Chris "Madman" Huish punched well above his weight and we all knew that Bish was simply the best scrum-half in the UK at the time! His only crime was opting to play for Pooler rather than the Big 4!

John Perkins was a "Real" hard man Eddie and I remember him breaking Geoff Wheel's nose at the front of a Swansea v Pooler lineout back in the day and not a sneaky punch from behind!

Why do great valley's clubs like Ponty and Pooler remain as members of a corrupt WRU? Isn't there other options available?

Remember Steve Flowers of Newbridge Eddie? You know, the guy you hospitalised with a courageous punch from behind! He never recovered! I would love to see Eddie go toe to toe with Steve's nephew Byron!

Steve's brother Mike, who also played for Newbridge, told me of that brave punch that hospitalised his brother!
