Feeling a bit ropey today. But my wonderful boys looked after me! And its the weekend now so i get Lee home for a few days xx

Awww thank you. Bless you. What a time to try and become a childminder. 🤦‍♀️ its such a worth while and rewarding job though. I do miss my little ones. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos even though they are not childcare related st the mo.

Such a strange reminder of how our lives have changed. The new lessons we have to learn and pass on to our younger children (all the way up to my 29 year old son, lol). It made me think back to when I was in grade school. We had an Air Force Base (with nuclear, yikes!) about 7 miles (11.3km) from my town, and I still remember the "bomb/earthquake" drills we had to do. (I also live in California, so there's that) And the timing, as our countries are memorializing WW2. Your country, especially, was on the front lines, so many of the same things had to be learned and taught to their children. And then things will get better, and our children will forget to teach some of these things, until the "next time". An unfortunate cycle created sometimes by us, and sometimes by mother nature. I do know one thing though. We will get through this. We know this because they got through it. I'm sorry you weren't feeling well, what you described was similar to the occasional migraine I've experienced. Prayers

This does remind me of the stories if the war. Especially the communities coming together to look after the vulnerable. We are getting a sense of that war time spirit in this modern age. It's quite something.

Sometimes when we buy cereal from a Dollar General Store here where I live,it will have a floral taste.At first I thought it was just me,but the rest of my family have noticed it too.We just don't buy it from there any more and it seems to be alright.It smells very florally and like cleaning products in that store,and I wonder if the cereal just absorbs it.

It's odd because it was a sealed box with a sealed bag inside and it was Kellogg's so not a cheap brand. 🤔

Oh my... Not liking that you are feeling off today. . Could you possible have an inner ear problem, causing some dizziness? My mom suffered from Meniere's disease, and when she had a flare up, she couldn't even stand without swaying. And she also had a problem with her eyes during those times and couldn't read more than a few pages. So I gave her a cassette player and supplied her with tapes to listen to. She really enjoyed that. Hope your dizziness settles down quick.. maybe a day in bed will help. Haven't ever had floral tasting corn flakes.. so.. yeah.. good idea on putting them into the garbage. Right not is not the time to take chances on anything.. Glad to see that Brendan sent you to bed. It's the best place for you mom... and stay there !. ha What a process needed now to go get a few things from the store, come home and disinfect everything including where the bags were. That's all tiring in itself. Is this going to be the norm?.. or is this just a hiccup for us while things heal and head into the way we shopped before? Knowing me and the way my brain works, this may be the new norm for me. Yes, it is scary for sure. How wonderful of the boys to step up and take over with making dinner. It looked delicious.... great job Brendan. Mom..You've taught them well. Cute graphics during your bath .. haha Ahhhhh.... happy to hear that you're feeling better.. No not heard from Dan. I did message today as I hadn't seen anything in a while. The boys did good today looking after me. And brendan did great dinner. Cooking is an important life skill. I have a friend whis had several operations because of meniers. Its definitely not that!

Hope you feel better soon Pippa. I’ve been lost down a KZbin rabbit hole for a week or so and have found these channels you might like to watch? Ice Age Farmer and the crowhouse. Also Dr Rashid Buttar makes some intriguing points for thought. There’s many more channels out there and they all draw very similar conclusions. It was just when you said that it was scary how fast we have all conformed to social distancing and sterilising shopping etc, it is scary! It’s almost like we don’t trust people anymore instead we see them as a threat to our health. Anyhoo, see what you think if you watch these channels, all I will say is would you trust a vaccine made by bill gates in record time with out significant clinical trials? Take care xx

Ohh I'll go check them out! No the vaccine is a worry in itself, but I have a neighbour who works for oxford uni and they are currently doing human clinical trials on a vaccine. So I feel more confident about it knowing a bit more about it now.
