I would call it a masterpiece in terms of the lyrics that create a pictorial imagery that leads to devotional affections to God who is ever present and the materful musical arrangement that brings out the meaning making it effortlessly ressonate in the hearts of the hearers. I have not heard many new Sinhalese Hymns or songs in the recent times but this song will certainly sit comfortably with the venerable musical tradition that we are so proud of.
