Hi, I have to glass walls in my pool and they always leak. I wasn't able to see the detail of how you sealed the glass. My glass was put into a pocket that was larger than the glass and then all the space was filled with tons of silicone. Can you share the details of how you sealed the glass, please?

Dor2 well, there’s your problem, the tons of silicon is flexing under the pressure of the water, letting in water. Silicon in itself won’t make joins watertight and glued together, because as soon as the silicon sets, the only thing you’re relying on is the strength of the adhesion to both surfaces, which the silicon will inevitably deteriorate much quicker. Redesign your feature.

@@basshash672 that’s a big problem. Unlikely to be any easy fix. You’d have full the gaps with concrete and then reapply the silicone. A reputable Acrylic glass manufacturer likely would have the correct detail. We strongly advise clients against using acrylic glass. I have seen nothing but problems with it.

Hi there... what kind of glass and how thick? Twas planning to install laminated tempered glass. Was told 10mm is enough... kinda skeptical... hehehe...
