Heavy Burden is exactly what I love in a song. Its an extremely beautiful soundscape. An Extremely dimensional mix with many many details. One of the best songs you have ever made!

Man. This video was perfect. keep up your fabulous work. More and more passionate. My dream is to someday see your concert like in Plovdiv. But I would be content with just one show... listening to your songs today is one of my ways of having an extra boost in the day to continue. The other day I sent Darby a message, and I was very happy that he read and replied. But it sucks not knowing that Devin reads what we write here and how much we enjoy his work. I work making longboards, and I'm born and raised on the coast. and this theme of this and the last album inspires me a lot. Thanks Devin

Very nice and in fact interesting to see your take on these things. Now I understand that your plethora of sounds come from honest and straightforward mindsets and that you acknowledge them but also move on. I saw you live once recently and was surprised by the differences in your tone when you're on stage and when you're like this just talking about your work. Just to say that I wouldn't mind at all if you bring some of that sincerity and somewhat heartwarming part of your self to the shows. It's massively inspiring to me that you've made a living out of following your path despite the turns and deviations from what people expect. "Heavy" has a lot of meanings, musically, and it's frustrating when people only accept one definition of it. To use other band's examples, One Step Closer by Linkin Park is heavy, but so is One More Light. Big riffs, too much distortion, and blast beats so fast they're not actually played in time is "heavy", but so is self reflection

It's a shame Devin's pre-DTP persona still dogs him. I still like the older material, but for my money I've come to prefer Devin's quieter... well, "quieter"... material. Casualties and Ghost are among my all-time favorites, with Lightwork quickly closing the gap the more I listen to it. Here's hoping Devin gets more support for the music HE wants to make.

Such a relief you pointed that out. Now knowing your opinion, I can honestly say that I lost interest because of this metal soundwall stuff. I feel like you already hit the ceiling with that style of music after Accelerated. Then it was like a copy of a copy. But then again, it's just me getting bored quickly... and old.
