This was such a sad and brilliantly done episode. How they made Appa feel so real is beyond us. We felt for Appa so much 😭 You can now find our reactions to the rest of season 2 and episodes 1-7 of season 3 over on our Pateron: www.patreon.com/ScribblesReactions

Dee Bradley Baker is a wonderful voice actor. He specializes in creature voices and voices Appa, Momo and all the other animals in this show and some of the humans (like Chong the singing nomad. Secret tunnellll!). He gave Appa and Momo emotion and personality without ever speaking a word.

Don't worry about getting emotional bro. I've seen this series multiple times and the emotional beats still hit as hard as they did the first time.

7:09 "I guess this means we'll always be together.. Always..." :( 7:27 & 13:50 "What invisible strings connect us all." 9:06 Her reaction there. Aww. :) 14:55 I'm not going to tell... but have you ever tried an exotic cuisine. ;)

This episode won a Humane Society of US award. As someone who loves animals, especially dogs. This hurts my soul

The guy on the boat was their father. This may be a little early to ask, but will you be watching The Legend of Korra after this show?
