Wow! Just wow! I am astonished at how well those horses coped with that situation. Many horses would have totally freaked out. A testament to the training and temperament of these two. At least the lady guiding the Polar Bear appeared cautious and gave some distance whereas the Penguin and flag wavers………..🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I can't stand costumed people intruding on everything and then waving a flag in front of a horse. Stupid people. This event is too much for the horses and with that announcer too, yelling and all of the thumping sounds and a ton of people moving around. Maybe the horses should have been kept inside during this.

I've never seen a religious march along Whitehall. But Horseguards is only a few hundred yards from Downing Street and there is no other way for protest marches to go. As fa as the Marathon is concerned, the route deliberately takes in many tourist attractions and significant areas as do most other city marathons worldwide. What is unnecessary I'd for the commentary to be so close to Horseguards.

@@msfrred1st Plenty of religious green white and black flags flown there every weekend and they do use Whitehall, This is wrong of the organisers to use it right outside of the horses as tourists go to see them as well!

@rosieandjim2293 . Those red, white and black flags at marches recently are actually the Palestinian flag not belonging to any religious group. The marches are to try to influence the government to support a cease fire in Gaza.
