Could you just dump the air on the bags then just put a valve to cut off the air supply to the front axle then just inflate again?

I've watched several of these "poor man" videos for lift axles. I'm not impressed, I ordered my hendrickson loft axle kit today from fleetpride. The kit was $450 and the welder is gonna be around $250. I dont think saftey and risk of equipment failure out on the road is worth saving a couple hundred dollars.

That winch holds more weight than an axle. Once I got it welded to the frame.. it's just as safe
