It is a Farmall 140 High Crop. It is a pretty rare tractor. The 140 was the last descendant of the Farmall A. They were build into the 1970s.

My husband bought a 4x4 IH Traveler when we were stationed in California. We learned all about 4x4 mountain climbing. Such fun. When things broke it was expensive. The parts were actual tractor parts on many thing.

I really like those and the Scouts too. I think they were called Travelalls

Yes Travelalls. Thats it. And now that you say Scout. That is what it was. We had a scout. We had a blast with it. We brought it back to south tx with us and would drive the Padre Island 60 miles down in 4 wheel drive. We took off the removal top and put on a roll bar. It had the meanest clutch I ever had to use. Tractor Part.@@davesotherstuff

That is a 140 Hi-Clear vegetable tractor - successor to the AV and Super AV. They had 36" rear wheels, 19" front wheels, and spindles/knees that were extended 6" to provide additional clearance for bedded vegetable crops like tomatoes, squash, peppers, and asparagus. Thousands of the Hi-Clear tractors are still being used on New Jersey vegetable farms, but are pretty uncommon in other parts of the country.

I'd prefer to see it running too. But if you think about it from a different perspective, it's quietly working by attracting attention and maybe holding up a sign....trying to see some positive.

It's not a Cub. Looks more like a Super A or a Farmall 100. Rear wheels appear to be off a different tractor.
